Sleeping in a tour bus turned out to be a lot harder than it sounded like.

First of all; Cas could never be comfortable enough. He was almost too big for the hole-in-the-wall-bed, so he had no idea how Sam coped. Second; Gabe was sleeping on top of him and he kept shifting, and Cas was much more aware of sound when he was trying to sleep. Third; every time Cas found a position that was comfortable, Bobby seemed to take a sharp turn as if on cue and wreck Cas's pillows.

He couldn't say anything to Bobby though. He was already being so kind by driving them during the night.

But the morning after was better.

"Who's gonna brush their teeth first?" Benny asked, sitting on the seat. Dean was sitting next to him.

"Sam?" Gabe offered and Sam nodded, rubbing his face sleepily. He had just gotten up. "Thanks," he said, and walked up to the un-safe-looking bathroom. Cas was sitting next to Gabe on the seats in front of Dean and Benny.

"UGH- WHAT IS THIS?!" Sam's yelling filled the bus. "Don't shout you idjit!" Bobby shouted back. "Gabe!" Sam whispered furiously and walked into the lounge, his pants and shirt all wet.

Gabe was laughing so much, he started making funny noises and even Cas cracked a smile. Dean was laughing too. "Looks like you got into an accident," Dean teased his younger brother and Sam glared at him. Then he turned to Gabe.

"Tell me this isn't something disgusting," he said and Gabe tried to catch his breath. "It's just ice-tea," he said and started laughing again. "Did you know about this?" Sam asked Dean who was almost laughing as much as Gabe.

"No – I swear," Dean said. Sam turned to Cas. "Me neither," Cas said and Sam turned to Benny. "The two of you were the only ones in the bus yesterday," he said. Benny raised his hands and shrugged, and Dean and Gabe started laughing louder.

"Why didn't you tell me?! I would've helped!" Dean said to Benny and Benny shrugged again.

Sam and Cas were the only ones who weren't laughing, but when Sam turned to look at Cas with an exasperated look, Cas let out a laughter too.

"This is just the beginning kiddo," Gabe said and smirked again. Sam closed his eyes and raised his hands like he was surrendering. "You won, for now," he said and turned back to the bathroom to change.

Dean glanced at Cas, but Cas was listening to Gabe explain how he came up with the idea of "getting Sam wet". He kept his gaze on him for a little while and Cas pretended not to notice.

They arrived at the next city a few hours before the gig. "Good news boys, the gig you have tomorrow isn't very far so we're staying at a little hotel tonight," Bobby said to the guys inside the bus and almost everyone cheered.

Cas was happy because he was gonna sleep properly for tonight.

Cas was sitting in the changing room by himself, going through the setlist when the door was knocked. "Come in," he said and Sam entered the room.

Cas was thinking about why Dean had been talking to him so little but looking at him so much for the last few hours.

"Busy?" Sam asked and sat on the chair in front of Cas. There was half an hour until the gig began, so he had some time.

"No but make it quick," he said. "Okay. I was wondering if you'd like to be in my team," Sam said and leaned forward like he was telling him a secret. "What team?" Cas asked. "Prank team," Sam said and Cas shook his head.
