❝I am there waiting, watching, keeping to the shadows. But when you need me, I'll step out of the shadows and protect what's mine.❞

IF SHE THINKS her life will be peaceful for only one day, she was wrong. Living in Beacon Hills will never be peaceful, as long as there are still strange creatures roaming around the town, or the human. Like Stiles Stilinski. His obsession on finding out what's exactly Theo's plan still looks high and there's no sign that he would give up until he proves that he was right. She doesn't mind if she has to find out Theo's family background for hours at the Sheriff's Station, but if it should be a stalker? That's just not her type.
"I told you he was up for something." Stiles whispered.
Cassandra groaned, "And I don't know why I was so stupid to follow you here."
"Hey, you're not stupid. We're just going to find out something. I promise it will not be long."
"Yeah, we just spent three hours watching this dude play video games in his bedroom." Liam complained.
"He better come out and give me a surprise." She said.
Liam chuckled, "Easy there, tiger."
Cassandra shrugged and followed Stiles through the muddy ground. She was lucky not to wear her favorite shoes with heels underneath it, because it would be difficult for her to walk.
"You still got his scent?" Stiles asked.
"Don't need it." Liam replied as he pointed to the footprints on the ground. But Liam didn't move from his spot, as if he had found something.
Cassandra furrowed her eyebrows, "Why are you just standing there?"
"I forgot I was supposed to meet Mason at the school gym." He replied, panic crawling in his nerves.
"Why don't you just tell him?" Cassandra asked.
"Tell him what?"
"Anything." Stiles answered.
"I can't just tell him anything."
"Why not?" Cassandra asked.
"Because I haven't told him everything."
"Still? We said it was okay."
Liam sighed, "I know but it's not that easy."
"He watched my dad blow up a berserker with a land mine. I think the groundwork's has been pretty thoroughly laid for acceptance." Stiles replied. "Scott and I have been through this, okay? More than once. It's just- it's always better when they know."
"But what if he freaks out? What if he doesn't want to talk to me? What if he tries to stab me with something silver? What if-" Before he could finish his sentence, he fell into a hole.
"What the hell are you doing?"
Liam only shrugged as Cassandra spoke, "Fall into the hole because too many what ifs. Typical Llama Dunbar."
Cassandra, then, held out her hand and pulled him out of the hole. Once he was on his feet, they heard footsteps.
"There he is. Hurry up. Stop screwing around." Stiles said as he looked Theo at the bridge. "Liam, try to get his scent."
"Soap." Liam replied. "It's nice, it smells good."
She grunted, "Oh sweet mother. Not his soap dumbass!"
"His emotional state. Chemosignals, remember?" Stiles began to feel annoyed.
"Right. He's... sad? Yeah, he's sad, well not just sad. It's more like grief." Liam informed them.
