Right now there's a war between the vanities, but all I see is you and me. The fight for you is all I've ever known, so come home.

A WEEK HAD passed. Everything is back to normal, except for Kira who went back to the desert to fulfill her promise to the Skinwalkers. And for her. After the incident, she always has nightmares every night, making her always screamed that made her father had to get up to calm her down. Every night, she always had the same dream. And it was about Theo, when he pulled down into the pit, which she called the hellhole, by his dead sister. She didn't know what the purpose of all her dreams, but clearly these dreams could make her lose her mind.

And all the nightmares had to make her absent from school because in the morning she would look very pale and her whole body trembling. Scott, Lydia, Stiles, Malia, Liam and Mason are her most loyal visitors, every day after school they always take the time to visit her. Cassandra once advised Chris to put her in the Eichen House for a while until her condition is better, but Chris strongly opposed her suggestion. He said that they will find another way to resolve this. But somehow she doubted it.

"Hey, sweetheart." Chris called as he came into her room. "Nightmares again?"

She slightly nodded, "Yeah."

"It's okay. You'll be fine." He stroked her back. "You've just experienced the bad things. You've just lost someone you loved. I know it will not be easy to forget about it but eventually you would get through this phase."

"I hope so."

Chris smiled sadly, "You'll get through this. I'm pretty sure you can."

Cassandra just stared blankly into the wall. Her eyes were so empty until you could say that her body is simply a void.  She didn't know it was possible to miss someone until she rolled over in the middle of the night and tried to wrap herself around him but found nothing but cold sheets and an empty bed. Perhaps she had felt the same way when she lost her family, but this time the feeling is much different than before. And it caused her want to leave this town.

"Dad, I know we've talked about this, but I can't hold it anymore." She said quietly, looking down at her feet. "I know you're worried about my safety, I know you don't want to lose me, but I have to learn to control my abilities. I still have problems in control, and I don't want to end up like Kate. And I don't want to be consumed by the creature. I wanted to help my best friends without having to worry if I'm going to lose control."

Chris knitted his eyebrows, "Why do you really want to deal with this creature so badly?"

"Because I'm still afraid." She answered instantly. "Whenever I walked out of the door, I don't want to be afraid anymore. I don't want to be the cause of someone's death again. I don't want to hurt the people around me."

"Does this have anything to do with Theo?"

"Because I lost my anchor?" She chuckled bitterly. "Yes, he's one of the reasons why I want to control this creature so that I can take care of myself."

Chris knew her condition was unstable, and that only he could do was give his daughter what she wants. He actually felt regret for letting her come back to Beacon Hills. Whatever they do in this town, they only earn the pain and loss.

He was silent for a moment before sighing, "Alright. But we're not going to do it in this town."

"Thank you, dad." She half smiled and hugged him. "Besides, I also need a break after a few weeks of this severe."

"I know." Chris patted her head. "But we need help. I can't train you alone."

Cassandra pulled away, "We can call Isaac. Or Jackson."
