Some of the most poisonous people come disguised as friends or family.

THE MOMENT SHE opened her eyes, a bright light directly attacked her eyesight. She slowly sat up and rubbed her temple. The last thing she remembered was when she, Liam and Stiles ran out of their little mission to spy on Theo because it seems that their plan doesn't end well. She remembers that she blacked out yesterday, but the cause? She didn't know at all.

"Morning, Cassie. You woke up already?" Melissa asked as she went into her room.

She smiled, "Yeah. How long am I here?"

"All night. Stiles brought you here, but unfortunately he can't stay overnight because he had a sudden case." Melissa informed.

"Where is he now?"

"Definitely in school."

Cassandra nodded and stood up, "I've been allowed to go home, right?"

"Of course, but take this." Melissa handed her a paper bag. "There are medicines in it to recover your blood pressure. Take it twice a day."

"Okay, thank you. Oh and where I have to pay the hospital bill?"

"No need. The bill you have already paid off." She answered, smiling.

Cassandra knitted her eyebrows, "Who paid for it?"

"Perhaps the boy in the waiting room. You'd better check yourself, sweetheart."

"Alright, then, I'll leave now. See you later, Melissa." She said as she hugged her.

"Okay be careful, sweetie."

After saying goodbye, she rushed out of the room to check on the boy who has paid her bill. Maybe the boy is Stiles. Or Liam. She knows the fact that Liam has a little crush on her, thanks to Mason who had told her after a month they became friends. But, yeah, Liam deserve much better than her so she just consider him as a brother, nothing more. She had thought that Stiles was the one who pays the bill considering they had been good friends for a long time and he regards her as his own sister. But of course, she was deadly wrong. She didn't even think about this boy in front of her.

"Theo?"

He turned around and smiled, "Hey, Cass. Feel better?"

"Pretty much." She replied. "What are you doing here?"

"I want to pick you up since I know Scott and Stiles were busy."

"Really? Well, thanks. You're very nice. About the bill-"

He cut her off, "It's okay. You don't have to return the money."

"It seems Stiles wrong about you." She muttered quietly. "But, seriously, I don't need to return it?"

"Yes, Cassie. Now, you want to go to school?" He offered.

"I have to change clothes. So if I may I would like to go home first."

"Okay, I'll take you home." He genuinely smiled as he gestured her to follow him. She smiled back and followed him to his car.

You made the wrong decision, Master.

Cassandra inwardly groaned. Just shut up. I know what I should do, I always knew. She could say that Theo being Theo right now. And she felt he wasn't a bad person, so there's no harm in giving him a chance. Besides, they were best friends before she lost her childhood memories. Somehow she felt safe and comfortable around him. For now.
