Chapter 4

"Hey, uhm, I wanted to tell you that, uhmm..." Maddox said, starting to act shy and started to look up at the sky. I decided to walk up to the tree and sat down against it, then said "Mads, come sit down." He walked over and sat in front of me, but still wouldn't look me in the eye. "Mads, what's wrong? Why won't you look at me?" "Ihavefeelingsforyou!!!!" "What? Can you slow down? I can't even understand what you're saying."

 He seemed to get even more anxious as I said that, but then calmed himself and said, "Vel, I like you. A lot." I just sat there speechless. I liked him too. But, I still had no idea how to reply to that statement. So, I just sat there quietly for a while, until I heard him say, "I completely understand if you don't like me back. I just wanted to tell you." At the moment, I found something to say. I looked Maddox right in the eye and said, "I have liked you since day 1, you've just never noticed. I've always given you glances in class and I've always been different with you. Why do you think that is?" 

He looked at me like I was insane, but also gave me a look of pure happiness. I looks at me and says, "Are you serious?" He gives me a hopeful, I look at him and said, "If the Joker was here he'd ask why I'm so serious." (Sorry I had to reference the Joker) Then, I felt something warm against my lips. Then, I realized... he is kissing me. My eyes widened and then after a little while... I kissed back. It was the best kiss I've ever had. His lips were so warm. 

It was a good kiss, but it also didn't feel like he has kissed many people because he didn't kiss perfectly. And, in a way, it made me happy. We pulled away after a while. And I saw something that I never thought I'd ever see. Maddox was blushing. I giggled and kissed his cheek, and then said, "You're a pretty good kisser." He gave a shocked look then said "Really? That was the first time I've kissed anyone..." 

At that point, I was the one that was shocked. "Really?" "Yeah" I was so shocked I stayed silent for awhile. Maddox got me out of my have and then said "Now I have a question for you..." "What is that?" "Well you let me take you out tomorrow?" 

"Like a date?" "That was the plan?" "Yeah I'll go." "Great! I'll pick you up around noon tomorrow?" "Yeah that sounds great!" We just sat there and talked to each other for about an hour. Then we both headed home. 

--------------------1 1/2 hour later---------------

As soon as I got home, my phone went off. I looked down and saw that Rache sent me a text saying "OMG the date was so much fun!!!!!! Can I come over to your house tomorrow and talked to you about it?" I texted her back and said "Yeah, can you come before noon though. I'm going to need your help with something." "Yeah what do you need my help with? And why before noon??" I giggled a little bit then texted her back saying "I need your help picking out an outfit for my date tomorrow." It was about 20 minutes then I get a text back from Rache saying "WHO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" And I texted her back saying, "I talked to Mads after you went on your date with Quinny and he asked me out" 

"You're telling me the entire story tomorrow." "Okay." And with that Rache never answered me back. Of course, I can't really get angry it was after 11 o'clock at night. I decided I should probably get a shower and get ready to go to bed. I went in my room to get a change of clothes, which ended up being a pair of booty shorts, a pair of panties and a tank top. I walked into the bathroom and got undressed. 

I got on the hot water and got in. I sat down in the shower and just thought about everything that happened that day, like I do everyday, I sat like that for probably ten minutes then got up and started to wash my hair. Once I rinsed out the shampoo I put in conditioner and washed my body. I rinsed out the conditioner and rinsed my body off. I sat back down and started making different scenarios of what could happen tomorrow. I got out after about 20 minutes of doing this and dried off. I put my clothes on. 

I went and plugged up my phone. I realized then that I hadn't had dinner, yet. I walked downstairs and got left over tacos. I went back upstairs and went into my room cutting on the tv. I turned on cartoons until I finished my tacos. I cut off my tv and put the plate on my night stand thinking I will just take it in the morning when I woke up. I checked my phone, seeing that Mads texted me saying "Good night. Sleep well. I can't wait till tomorrow :)" 

I sent him "Good night, sleep well. And same ;)" I set my alarm for 8 o'clock so I could get another shower in the morning. I checked to make sure I didn't get anymore texted and saw that I had one notification. It was from Quinny. It said "What did you do to Maddox to make him so smiley?" I giggled then responded with "All I did was agree to go on a date with him tomorrow. If you want more info come over tomorrow before noon, and I'll explain, because I doubt he'll tell you." He responded with "OMG!!! YES I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN!! And, okay then, I will see you tomorrow. Good night, sleep well." "Good night, sleep well. And tell Mads I said to get some sleep" "Okay I will" And when I saw that I decided it was time to get some sleep for tomorrow, well more like today at this point.
