Chapter 5

Anyone else wonder what happen on Quinny and Rache's date? Let's see! But in a different POV maybe?

(Rache's POV)

Wow. He looks amazing. He was in a dress shirt, but still had the normal black jeans and black and white converse. We had just walked out the house and walked towards Quinny's 2016 Chevy Colorado. It is an extremely big truck. A truck that you would thing would be used for working. Which in a way Quinny does use it for work, because he gets paid to transport large loads with it. I looked over at Quinny and asked "We're are we going to?" 

"Sorry, Rache, it's a surprise." "Quinny!!!!!!!! Don't leave me out of knowing!!!!!!!!!" "Sorry, Rache" I decided to fake pout and say "fine" in a baby voice. At that point I turned up the radio to find that Bubble Gum Girl by Nick Bean was playing on the radio. I started singing, well more like belting, along to it. All of a sudden I heard a low chuckle.

 I turned to see that Quinny was laughing at me. I looked at him and stopped singing, asking him, "What's so funny to you?" I laughed a little bit after saying it. He replied with, "I just find it cute how enthusiastic you get about music." Once he said that I slightly blushed and thought, He just called me cute!!! I smiled at him and said "Thank you." We sat there in silence for a while, then Idecided that I could try and get him to tell me where we are going, again. "Hey Quinny...?" "Yeah Rache, whats up?"

"I have a very serious question" "Okay, shoot." "Where are we going???" I asked him a very whiney, and high pitched voice. "I already told you, Rache, it's a surprise." "Fine..." We both stayed silent again and then we pulled up at a waterfall and small field. 

Since it is almost summer, fire flies were out and buzzing around a late night picnic that I'm guessing Quinn set up before he came to pick me up. It looked beautiful, the fireflies were everywhere and the sound of the waterfall made everything perfect. There was a candle that lit the picnic. We walked over to the picnic, not saying a word, mostly because I was awestruck. We sat down then Quinny asked, "What do you think?" "It's so beautiful, Quinny." "I'm glad you like it." 

Once he said that he pulled out a pepperoni pizza. "Well, I think this date just dropped a few points on the romance scale." I said, while laughing. Quinny looked at me through his bangs and said, "Well, it was either that or me cook, then you'd never want to go on a date with me again, because you'll be scared I'll cook for you again." At that I leaned forward laughing hysterically. After I calmed down, we started to eat. "This pepperoni pizza is really good though" I said laughing.

She looked so beautiful in the candle light. The light made her skin look angelic and her eye color pop. We ate and then sat and talked for a while. After about an hour of talking, we ended up moving the picnic basket and laid down. Her head laying on my chest and my arm wrapped around her shoulders. We laid there, just staring up at the stars. It was peaceful. 

A little bit too peaceful. I started shaking and tickling her. She jumped up and hit me. At that I sat up and started chasing her around the clearing. I ended up loosing my footing and falling into the lake beside the waterfall. After Rache was done laughing she walked over to the edge and I asked her, "Can you help me out?" "No, you're just going to pull me in."

"No I won't, I promise." "Fine" She reached out and I grabbed her hand. Quickly pulling her down so she lands in the water, and I laughed. "You said you weren't going to pull me in!!!" She yells at me. "I lied" I stated. We splashed each other for about twenty minutes. 

We finally got out and went back to the truck. We got back and turned the heater all the way up and turned up the radio. The entire way home we were goofily singing the random songs that came on the radio. And, of course, laughing at each other as we did it. Once we got back, I walked her up to the front porch. I looked at her and said, Okay, now I've wanted to do this for awhile. 

I'm sorry if this is too sudden." At that, I pulled her forward, gently, and kissed her softly. She didn't reject me, she actually kissed me back!!! I pulled back with a ginormous smile on my face and said, "It's late, I should be getting home." "Okay" She responded with a goofy grin on her face.

I went inside and decided to text Vel. "OMG the date was so much fun!!!!!! Can I come over to your house tomorrow and talked to you about it?" I texted her. She replied with, "Yeah, can you come before noon though. I'm going to need your help with something." "Yeah what do you need my help with? And why before noon??" "I need your help picking out an outfit for my date tomorrow." I decided to get a shower and it took about 20-30 minutes, and as soon as I saw her message I automatically replied with, "WHO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" "I talked to Mads after you went on your date with Quinny and he asked me out" "You're telling me the entire story tomorrow." "Okay."As soon as I saw that I fell asleep.

Once I got home, and saw Maddox smiling like an idiot, I decided to text Velice.  "What did you do to Maddox to make him so smiley?"I chuckled."All I did was agree to go on a date with him tomorrow. If you want more info come over tomorrow before noon, and I'll explain, because I doubt he'll tell you." I saw that and stared at it in shock, amazement, and pure joy. I looked over at Maddox with a ginormous smile on my face, then turned back to my phone and said, "OMG!!! YES I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN!! And, okay then, I will see you tomorrow. Good night, sleep well." "Good night, sleep well. And tell Mads I said to get some sleep" "Okay I will" And when I saw that I almost immediately.
