Chapter 3

It was finally lunch time! Thank the lord! I brought my lunch everyday so I didn't have to worry about the ridiculous wait in the lunch line to get my lunch. I walked to my normal spot with Rachael, Maddox, and Quinn. But, at that time the only one that was there was Quinn. I walked up to the table and said "Hey, Quinny, what's up?" But, now that I get up close and look at him, he looked worried and stressed out. 

I sat down quickly and asked, "What's wrong, Quinny?" He turned to me and said, "Can I tell you something? You have to promise not to tell Rache if I tell you." "Okay, go for it." "I have feelings for Rache, and I have for a really long time. But, I have no idea whether she returns my feelings or not." I turned and saw that Rachael was coming and I said, "I can talk to her later about it if you want?"  "Will you?!" "Sure. It's not a problem."

 By the time I was done saying that Rachael and Maddox were there and about to sit down. I turned and saw that Rachael wasn't sitting beside to me. It was actually Maddox. "Oh, hey, Mads." "Hey, Velice." "Well, that's a new one." "Yeah, it's different and unique..."

 I swear after he said that he said "just like you.", and from the looks on Quinn and Rachael's faces I'm correct. Rachael was smirking at me and Quinn was giving us a shocked look. I decided to just shrug it off, even though it gave me butterflies in my stomach. I looked at Quinn and Rachael and say, "So, Quinny, Rache, anyone you have an eye for?" both me and Maddox smirk at Quinn. Both Quinn and Rachael blush, and I say, "Come on, who are they, we're all friends here. If it makes you feel better, you guys can say it at the same time." and they both slowly nodded and looked at each other and Rachael proceeded to say, "3...2...1...Now!" And at that point in time they proceeded to say each other's name. I smiled brightly at Quinn and said, "There you go. Now you know, she does like you." Quinn's eyes widened and he turned and just stared at Rachael for what felt to me like hours, so I can only imagine how bad it must have been for her. 

She gave him a weird look and said, "What are you staring at?" "The most gorgeous girl in the world." "Awe, thanks, Quinny." "Will you go on a date with me tonight?" "I don't know I think I have something planned", Rachael said while laughing, then said, "Yes, Quinny, I will go on a date with you." Quinn gives her a bright smile then turns back around to eat his lunch.

I'm at Rachael's house helping her pick out an outfit. Quinn told me that he was taking her somewhere nice, so get her to wear something nicer. So, here I am knowing I'm not going to be able to get her into a dress for anything, so I'm looking through her closet and I saw a frilly toped tank top, a black throw over and a pair of skinny jeans. I pulled it out and handed to her. She went to the bathroom and put it on. She came back and I talked her into letting me curl her hair. Once we were finished we heard the doorbell, and we walked down. Rachael opened the door, and the first thing I hear is a gasp.

 Then, I see Quinn and he is staring at Rachael, and says, "Woe, you look gorgeous." "Ready to go?" "Yeah, let's go." And when she says that we all walk out, they going to Quinn's truck and me going to mine. I go home and they go on their date. Once I got home I get a phone call from Maddox. 

I answer and say, "Hey, Mads what's up?" "Nothing really. Can you meet me at the willow tree I have something to tell you." "Okay. See you there." We hung up and I made my way to the school grounds.

I got to the willow tree and saw Maddox. "Hey, Maddox, what did you need to tell me?"
