Chapter 7

She looks so beautiful. I thought while following behind her to my car. I can't believe she actually likes me back, especially enough to go on a date with me. I really hope she likes the date. I walked her to the car and opened the door for her to get in then closed it once she was comfortable in her seat. I walked around and got into the drivers seat of my black 2014 corvette stingray. We both got buckled up and I put the key in the ignition, before turning on the car and pulling out of Vel's drive way. I drove down to our mall that was only 25 minutes away. 

The entire time we listened to OM&M, BVB and SWS, those being both mine and, apparently Vel's absolute favorite bands. Once we get there I look at Vel and say, "Okay I want you to close your eyes until we get to where we're going, okay?" "Okay. But can I wait to close my eyes until we actually get inside the mall?" "Sure." I got out the car and walked around to help her out even though she doesn't really need help. I take her hand to help her out and then once she is out I never really let go. I start to walk to the mall, slightly dragging Vel behind me. 

She catches up to me and I turn to look at her and see that she is staring down at our intertwined hands blushing and smiling slightly. I smile at her then we got inside the mall. "Okay. We're in. Time to close your eyes." "Okay..." I walked behind her and covered her eyes with one hand and wrapped my other arm around her waist, strictly for steering purposes. I start walking down the bottom stretch of stores. We finally got in front of the store I've been guiding her to. I move my hand and said, "Okay, here's the first part of our date. You can open your eyes." Vel slowly starts to flutter her eyes open trying to adjust to the lighting. 

Her eyes opened to see a red sign that said "Rock Bottom Music & Sound Super Store", I hear a loud pitch squeal. "OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS STORE!" I stiffle a chuckle at her out burst. She, then, grabbed my hand and dragged me into the store. She automattically ran over to the CD's and started looking through the CD's. Come to find out she also likes Green Day, Linkin Park, Snow White's Poison Bite, and a bunch of other bands. Then she looked at me with a sad look. "What's wrong?" I asked her really worried. "I didn't bring any money..." 

I smiled at her slightly, "Did I tell you to bring money, I didn't think so either. I have cash." "I'm not gonna let you buy me CD's" "Just pick out the CD's you want." She nodded and grabbed 5 CD's and looked satisfied with the amount she had gotten. She dragged me over to the register. I paid for her CD's and we walked outside the store. I looked at her and asked, "Okay, so are you ready for part 2 of our date?" "There's more?!?!?!" She asked shocked. 

"Yup." I said as I grabbed her hand and took her upstairs and then covered her eyes and guided her to another store. We got outside of the next store and uncovered her eyes saying, "Okay, you can go crazy." She opened her eyes and saw the "Hot Topic" sign and her eyes instantly widened she grabbed my hand dragging me into Hot Topic. The first place she goes is over to the t-shirts. Then to the hoodies, followed by going to the bracelets. By the time it was time to pay she had, 6 shirts, 3 hoodies, and 10 bracelets. Which I paid for, then walked her out the door. 

"Okay so you said the second part. Don't get me wrong I love hanging out with you but how many more parts do we have?" She asked, quizzically. "One more. Because theres no way after all that walking you can't be hungry." "You're getting me dinner too?!?!" She asked while staring up at me with a shocked expression. "Well it wouldn't be a real date if I didn't get you dinner." I took her out to the car and put all the the stuff she got in the back seat. I drove 5 minutes down the road to a place that know one can resist. T-Bonez. 

I remember her saying her two favorite foods are steak and potatoes. This place is the best place to get both of those things. Her eyes widened and her face broke out with the biggest smile I've ever seen. She hasn't really smiled this entire time, but she still looked happy. I took her into T-Bonez and waited. Twenty minutes after waiting and we finally got to our seats with our menus. She after five minutes she still hadn't looked at her menu, so i asked her, "Do you know what you want already?" 

She nodded and me but never spoke. "Are you okay?" She didn't respond. I waved my hand in front of your face and then says, "Oh, hey, sorry. I spaced out." "It's okay. What were you thinking about?" She looks down at the table and mutters, "How wonderful this date has been." I smiled at her, then reach across the table and took her hand, and said "I couldn't agree more." She gave me her beautiful smile. Then our waitress walked up to us, "Hello, my name is Krystal. What can I get you to drink this evening?" 

Vel said, "I'd like sweet tea, please." And I said, "I want coke. Thank you." She left and came back five minutes later. "Can I take your orders?" Again Vel answered first "12 oz serloin with a baked potato with cheese and bacon bites, please." "Okay. And for you, sir?", Krystal asked looking over at me. "12 oz ribeye with a caesar salad, please."

"Okay. That'll be right out for you two." She said smiling at us. We started a game of twenty questions then our dinner came out. We ate and continuing our game of twenty questions. Once we left we sang along to PTV, SWPB, and Linkin Park. But, what happened when we got back to her house is what I'll never forget.
