"What will happen when you leave me? I'll be worthless." You could call me a pessimist right now, but I couldn't help it. She just chuckled.
"Joshie, that's the thing, I'll never leave you."
I smiled, "pinky promise?" I held my pinky in front of our faces.
"Pinky Promise." She confirmed. She locked our pinkies together and pulled me in for a kiss. I let our pinkies go, and held her face with both of my hands. I didn't want to let her go.

I was crying as I was on my knees in front of her grave. My face hidden, as it was covered by my hands.
"You promised. YOU PROMISED ME." I cried out. She promised to never leave me in any form. But she did. I didn't blame her though. I never blamed her for anything.
And I think no matter how much time passes by, I will always have a weak spot for her. And that terrifies me.

I took a glance at Bent as I was sautéing my meal.
"Oh Bentie boo?" I sang.
"What?" He replied.
"Heads up!" I threw another orange at him. He dodged it, but it ended up landing in his pot, splashing boiling water everywhere. I was on the floor laughing so hard.
"That's the 15th time you tried to cheat!" He exclaimed.
"I never tried to cheat..." I trailed out, acting all innocent.
"Oh no, not gonna work this time, Joshie." He waved his finger in front of me, and I bit it.
"Ouch!" He cried out, sticking his finger in his mouth, "Thwat weally huwrt, Jowsh." This time, I couldn't breathe. From laughing so hard.
"Just don't wave your finger in front of me." I told him simply, and shrugged.
"Oh, Joshie Washy." Bent said, shaking his head.
"Oh Bentie Boo." I said, repeating the same manner. He stared at me, and I tilted my head, curious. He shook out of his thoughts and made an excuse and left before I could protest. He left me. But what's the surprise there? Everyone leaves me anyway.
I sighed as I turned off the stoves and sat on the couch. Bent had left his phone here. As I started at his phone, it started ringing. It was Marcie. Of course, out of everyone possible, it was Marcie. I answered the phone, but Marcie said something before I could.
"Hey Bentie Boo...I was wondering if you wanted to have some fun tonight at the skating rink? We should go on dates more often now since we're officially a couple, Bentie Boo." Marcie asked. I stood frozen in place. This is what Marcie meant? I was shocked.
"Is this what you were talking about Marce?" I called her by her nickname like Bent does, but I wasn't going to pretend to be him.
"What do you mean, Bentie Boo?" Marcie was utterly confused.
"Marcie, you're in a relationship with Bent? No one is allowed to call him that. No one, but me." My voice had gone into a deathly terrifying whisper. There was a couple seconds of silence on the phone.
"Joshua?" Marcie asked. She was terrified.
"Why are you tricking him?" I knew Marcie didn't love my brother. It was easy to tell, "why are you trying to make me jealous? Don't deny it either."
"What do you mean? I'm in love with your brother, okay? There is no trick! Is that so hard to accept?!"
"Yes." I whispered so quietly, she could barely hear it and hung up the phone.
Later on, Bent came home.
"Where were you? Your fake girlfriend called." I told Bent as he walked through the door.
"Um..." Bent trailed off, taking slow steps to his room.
"Explain this Bennett Evergreen." I demanded very seriously.
"I know she doesn't love me, okay? I know she loves you. I went to her real boyfriend to tell her to stop."
"Real?"
"Yeah, she has another boyfriend that's been with her for three years."
"And? Come on, I know there's more." I folded my arms across my chest.
"She's dated all of your old best friends looking for information of you."
"Really?"
"Yes." Bent sighed, "and now she went after me to look for you obviously."
"And she doesn't think you know?" I questioned.
"She has suspicions, but I usual act clueless. Plus, I never told her anything about you, so we're cool right?"
"Yeah, but you need to break up with her. Then, we'll be good." I comprised
"Deal." Bent confirmed. We shook hands and went to do separate things.
"Hey Bent?" I called for him.
"Yeah?" He answered.
"We ended up not eating breakfast at all ya know." The pointed out.
"Oh well, it's cool. I don't usually eat breakfast anyway."
"Oh really? Because I'm the same..." I trailed off.
"Well, we are brothers after all, so great minds think alike?" Bent asked himself.
"No, not at all. The opposite probably." I corrected him. He punched me playfully in the shoulder, and smiled that goofy smile I knew. I sighed. Was I only happy when I was with my brother? Wasn't I happiest alone? Ugh, I forgot already. I can't get too close to anyone. Why did I move back home?
