Chapter 15

*Phil's POV*

We'd arrived at the hospital 23 minutes ago and they had taken Sophie away the minute we arrived. I haven't seen her, they wouldn't let me go with her despite my pleas. I'd asked several nurses what was going on but they either flat out ignored me or just said they didn't know.

I sat down and played games on my iPhone. I had considered calling Dan, but I'm already stressed and I don't think I can handle him yelling at me and asking too many questions. I end up playing Candy Crush for the next hour and a half.

That's it. I've been waiting too long, I need to know what's going on.

"Where is Sophia Howell?" I say angrily to the nurse at the front desk, she looks taken back by my approach. She tilts her head slightly an narrows her eyes at me, I guess I deserve it I was rude, I just want to know what's going on.

She types something into her computer and clicks several things and I see her scan over a few words through the reflection of her glasses.

"She is currently in surgery and will be out in about 20 minutes, sir." She says not looking up at me once. I pale even mores than I am already, if that's even possible.

"S-Surgery? W-What?" I stammer.

"She is currently in surgery for her leg. Now please sit down sir there are people behind you." She snaps. Well she is a, she is a bitch. Ok not a bitch she's just really, really rude.

"Um.. I-I, surgery!?" I say again looking at her.

She looks up at me and glares at my appearance. My hair which she rolls her eyes at, an my laser cat shirt which she chuckles at rudely.

"Yes now sir, I suggest you sit down there are people behind you." I just stand there unable to move. I guess I'm in shock. I didn't think her leg was that bad and I-

"I mean if you can sit down in this ridiculous skinny jeans." She smirks

"Shut up." I snap at her and take my seat. I was right she was a bitch.

I sit down and wait for 20 minutes until I can see I real doctor and find out what the hell is going on.

Finally after 20 minutes a doctor appears and calls my name.

"Phil Lester?" he says I stand up and walk towards him, I hear a small gasp behind me and turn to see a girl probably about 12 standing behind me.

"Are you Phil?" she asks

"Um yeah I am." I smile down at her, I am in a rush but I can talk to her for a second I guess.

"I saw you in Dan's video. Is Dan here?" she asks looking around.

"Uhh, no he's not, but I am." I say looking down at her.

"Oh. I don't really like you just Dan. Dan and me are going to get married."

"Oh.." I say frowning slightly.

"And Dan has more subscribers than you and he's prettier." she says with a cocky voice. "So bye." she walks away.

I don't know what to say really but now I feel a lot worse than I did before.

I turn to the doctor and he leads me down a hallway to an elevator, we go to the third floor and down another hallway, this floor is completely white,white walls, White floor, White ceiling. There are a few pieces of art scattered along the walls, we walk a bit further and then finally arrive at Sophie's room. It's a shared room with a curtain drawn through the middle of the room.
