*Peej's POV*

I splash cold water on my face attempting to make myself look normal, I'm not sure what is wrong with me.

I don't love Sophie, I don't. I can't love her, she's not mine anymore I can't love her.

Walking back into the lounge I see that I wasn't missed, everyone is still glued to the television, except Phil and Sophie; Phil is asleep his head resting on Sophie's shoulder and Sophie is looking over at me, tilting her head slightly like a confused puppy, Pj no. She's not yours stop it.

Chris is sitting next to Dan now so I sit next to Sophie and Phil, much to my dislike and discomfort I stay put for about 20 minutes until the movie finally ends.

"Peej are you okay?" Sophie lookog over at me as Phil shifts in his sleep, his arm going around her.

"Yeah I'm all good." I lie through my teeth.

"we could talk about it of you want."

"Sure, um where?" I asked cautiously looking straight at her.

"Well everyone is asleep so we can stay put right?"

"Yeah um sure."

"So what's up?" She says, carefully crossing her legs so Phil's head falls into her lap, on its side.

"It's just, I don't know how to explain it." I say moving my hands around.

"You can talk to me. You do know that right?" she says keeping her gaze down, playing with Phil's hair.

"I really don't want this" she says gesturing between the two of us, "to come between you and Dan or Phil, or even Chris. Because I know that before I was here everything wad all good and then this happened an I really don't want to be responsible for breaking up a friendship you know?" she says looking up at me once or twice but she mostly keeps her head down, trying to braid a bit of Phil's longer hair.

"You didn't ruin our friendship Sophie. But it's just, fuck dammit you hurt me, you fucking cheated on me with my best friend!" I yelled getting agitated. Phil shifted slightly and I lowered my voice.

"All I ever did was fucking love you. Okay that's all I did." I say crossing my arms and turning away.

"Peej..."

"No! I love you! Okay fuck you Sophie you made me love you, and then you just left me lying in the dust! It fucking hurts! I don't want to be left alone, I don't want to say goodbye okay, I love you! You made me love you! And now you don't love me back, you love him!" I yelled pointing at Phil.

"Pj, I love you too, it's just not in the same way. I promise you'll find someone that does but it's not me okay." she said calmly grabbing my hand as I was shaking. I'm not sure if I was shaking with anger or what but I was happy she was holding my hand.

"I going to miss you though." I whispered. "Can we sit on that couch please. We need to talk about this."

At that point, she slowly got up off the couch placing Phil's head down carefully and kissing his cheek.

"Look Peej," she said said to me to sitting down on the couch, "You don't need to miss me because I'm right here. Okay just because we aren't romantically involved doesn't mean we won't be friends anymore okay?

"Can I just ask you for something, and then we can have a friendship nothing more nothing less?"

"Okay"

"I just want to kiss you one last time please. That's all I want, okay just one last kiss."
