*Phil's POV*

"Sophie, Sophie wake up. Guess where we are." I mumbled into her ear.

"Are we there yet?" she grumbled turning over.

"Yup we've just landed." I said blowing onto her face to wake her up.

"Oh."

We got off the plane and went to our carousel to pick up our bags and other airport-y stuff that Sophie probably doesn't remember as she was half asleep the whole time.

I hailed down a taxi and put Sophie in the back seat and then put our bags into the trunk, as I climbed into the back with Sophie she seemed more awake, which was good.

"My Mum is going to freak out when we get there." I said growing increasingly more excited as I started to recognised more and more things. I act as if I hadn't been here in years but I came down like three days after Christmas to see my family and then was back in london new years eve. Fun fun fun.

"I hope she likes me, Phil what if she doesn't like me. What if she just flat out hates me and she tells you that you nee-" she started to panic.

"You need to calm down Soph, listen she will love you, not as much as I do because I'm quite certain that's not possible but, she will absolutely adore you. Trust me."

"Promise?"

"Promise. Cross my heart."

"Good." she smiled leaning over towards me, I hugged her tightly and began pointing out little landmarks.

"That's where I went to school right there, and that tree right there I climbed that and I fell out and oh oh oh! You see that ice cream store that's where I went on my first date."

"Oh really?"

"It lasted two days and we broke up I swear."

"Where did you have your first kiss?"

"Like a lip kiss?"

"Yeah."

"I didn't have one here, as I wasn't on every girls to do list back then." I chuckled. "But there was this tree behind my school and every single couple ever went and kissed there."

"Take me to the tree then."

"Really?"

"Yeah it'll be cute, and you can get your first kiss here." she said nudging me slightly.

"That would be excellent thank you." I said leaning over to kiss her

"No, no, no, save it for the tree silly." she laughed pushing me away.

I grew increasingly nervous as I started recognizing streets extremely close to my childhood home.

I was so excited for my parents to finally meet Sophie, for them to absolutely adore her, to see her smile brightly and realize she was stupid for worrying about everything.

But at the same time I was nervous as hell. She was going to my high school reunion, meaning she would meet all my old friends and everyone, else. It's no surprise that I wasn't the most popular kid in school, I had three friends and sometimes I felt so alone.

University was so much better though, meeting new friends, including Dan, and then moving in with Dan. All my truly happy memories took place away from high school.

I was nervous because I know that once I enter the cafeteria once again, I will be picked on I'm 26 years old an I'm nervous about bullies, amazing. I know they won't physically harass me, but verbally I don't even know.
