Chapter Sixteen

Neko:

I woke up to the sound of banging. Not a muffled banging sound but it sounded as if it was right outside. As I tried to move Roman gripped his hold around me, putting a finger over his mouth to tell me to be quiet.

"Get the fuck out here!"
"You know who it is don't you? Ha! Hiding out like a pussy Roman?"
"Where's the whore?!"

I started to shake so hard that I hardly noticed Roman's arm gripping to stay in place. He finally shifted away from me, getting up to move closer to the door. He waved his hand to motion me to the bedroom, I quickly got up and ran in the room still peeping out to see him. "What the hell do you want" Roman's voice boomed, the guys on the outside banged on the door again making me flinch. "COME OUT HERE WITH THE WHORE!"

"No ones home. So get the fuck out"

"Bullshit Shion. We can smell the female"

My eyes widened. So they are here for me...if that's the case then....Misao is nearby.... He's waiting for me. I tried to choke back the tears but they just came instantly, I slid down the doorframe silently sobbing. They started banging again, but Roman remained still not saying a word.

"I know you're in there Neko."

Misao...

Roman:

I knew if I made one move it would be over. I can't get hot headed in a situation like this, not when the lives of my mate and pups are at stake. But hearing Misao's sneering voice just made me want to yank the door open, jump on him and beat the living shit out of him.

"What do you want Misao?" I called to him

I could hear him move closer to the door "you know. Exactly what I want Roman. My mate."

"Neko doesn't belong to you"

"No but his pups do."

Are you fucking kidding me? Is he bringing my unborn children into all of this, is he that sick? I moved away from the door and over to Neko, he was shaking so hard he couldn't sit up straight. "Neko, baby please calm down. Everything will be okay."

"M-make him l-leave. Please, just m-make h-him go away" he whispered. I kiss his head, moving back towards the front door, I could still feel Misao's presence through door, God I wish Akito and Kira were here.... I'd need Miku to keep Neko in check. But I'll have to make do with this situation.

"You give me my pups and I'll leave your family alone" Misao said.

I gritted my teeth "you know I'd never do that. So why don't you leave us the hell alone"

"You're making this harder than it needs to be" he laughed "but in the end you'll give me what I want" .

I could hear all them start to leave. As soon as I knew they were all gone I called Akito, " I need you, Kira, Nimex and Miku here right now."

"Why? What's going on?"

"Misao was just here, and Neko's panicking. I just need you to get here now. Please"

"Okay we'll be right over"

It didn't take long for everyone to get to the apartment, Miku and Nimex spent 2hours trying to calm Neko down and put him to sleep, i was still fuming from the shit that happened.

"So now he knows where you two are" Akito hung his head sighing

"I think he's been watching us... I don't think he found us by chance" I replied.

"It's not safe here...but where else could you go? The Hajime pack would send rouges out to follow you anyway. Should I call father?"

My sharply shook my head "no, he's already got enough to deal with."

We both fell silent. Kira was fixing our door since the maniacs banged on it so hard that the wooden chips started to fall off of it. I don't know what to do, I can't go after him, because if I leave Neko then they'd probably come back....

"We need to keep Neko under survallance. At least until the pups are born. We can't have him in this state again, it'll hurt the pups" Nimex said walking towards us. I nodded "then what should we do? We don't have the money to move somewhere else"

"Stay at our families pack house until then. The pups are developing pretty fast, I can monitor them there. And Miku and the others will be on look out" she said.

I sighed, I didn't want to burden anyone like this, but it's for Neko and our pups. I can't say no to something like this, my mind was still filled with anger. But I have to stay level headed for Neko.

I would've loved it if you just killed the little bastard.

Ha. You don't think I wanted to? The stupid little shit.

Well we can't do anything until then. Sadly, but when the time comes he's all ours.

I can't wait for that day. The day I just remove all life from that monster. The monster that layed his hands on my mate and has made him have nightmares every night and panick attacks. That's right. When that day comes I'll be ready to kill him, and I won't feel bad after I do.

"Thank you Nim. You're a life saver" I said.

She smiled back "no problem. We leave first thing tomorrow, don't want to risk Misao coming back"

"We should talk to father though" Kira added "I think we should have more scouts out"

"How many do we have out already?" I asked

"I dunno 8?" Kira answered.

"Really? I thought there was more" Akito said.

Entirely you'd think there would be more omegas out looking for this guy. I wonder what my fathers been doing... This isn't like him, I've had less and less contact with him since this started, I don't know what's going on but I'm starting to get nerves. I can only hope that he knows what he's doing and how he's handling everything is working. Well not working enough if Misao was here....

Something doesn't seem quite right...
