God! I can't believe I denied it, that was my chance I kept running as far away until I came upon a tree. This tree was significant because it had the imprint Haru was taking about, I looked at it and I couldn't help but punch it. Why am I so stubborn! I'm not perfect like the way people see me, I'm not always positive. I punched the tree so many times and my hand bled.
I sat down under the tree my fist bleeding, but I didn't care. All of a sudden I heard someone call out "Makoto!" Please don't be Haru. Please don't be Haru. It was Haru.
I couldn't hold my tears they went and dropped. I wiped them away quickly and looked away from Haru. I all of a sudden embraced him from behind when he finally faced me.
"Makoto, is something wrong? What happened?" Haru wondered.
I just leaned close and cried on his shoulder, Im so weak, I can't even lie or avoid Haru, it was too late to leave.
"Haru, I'm so..rry for lying to you" I blurted out.
"Shhh, it's ok Makoto come on let's get that fist cleaned and bandaged up you might die of blood loss" he responded.
I couldn't help but giggle a little, because it sounded like I was going to die or something. He smiled back and he helped me up and we walked back to his house.
When we arrived I sat down at the living room and he cleaned my fist and wrapped a bandage over it.
"There all better, now stay here while I brew up some tea" he insisted.
"Thank you" I responded and smiled.
This isn't the Haru I know, well I do know him but he's different. He doesn't know who he is yet, what I wish is for his memories to go back, so that he'll be happy and be able to continue his dream.
He finally came back with tea, smelling it from the distance "macha" my favorite.
"It's macha, is that alright?" he uttered.
"More than it's perfect, thanks" I replied. We both drank our tea and stared at the atmosphere.
"Hey I'm sorry again, I shou-" I started speaking.
"No don't apologize it's not your fault I'm just clueless" he interrupted.
I smiled and everything was quiet, until we both leaned closer to each other. I stared at his blue eyes and no words were spoken. We were face to face, nose to nose, then...
"Suppp Guys!" Nagisa greeted happily.
We both backed away and greeted Nagisa who was with Rei, Kou, Rin, and Sosuke. Nagisa then embraced both of us
"Na..gisa" I choked, "too ti..ght" I added.
"Sorry Makoto" he apologized and released us.
"Sorry for barging in like that Haru" he apologized.
"It's fine really, next time would it kill you to knock" Haru explained and all of us giggled.
"Hi Haru, Makoto, didn't know you were here" Rei greeted.
"Hi Rei, yea long story but it's awesome to see everyone again" I smiled.
Haru then asked everyone for tea who was surprised because the Haru they know didn't even know how to brew tea, since every time he would over fill the kettle or add too much sugar. But now he makes the right amount and time it right too.
"Makoto-chan what happened to your fist?" Nagisa wondered looking at the bandage.
"Oh I punched a tree, but Haru came and he cleaned it up" I responded nervously.
"Why were you punching a tree?" Kou asked and everyone else saw.
"I was mad at something, but I'm fine now" I gulped.
"Oh ok, be careful next time" Kou continued.
"I will," I smiled.
Haru finally came back with tea and everyone was pleased.
"This is delicious" Nagisa complimented.
"Woah, Haru you made this" Rin added.
"Yea, glad you like it" Haru answered and smiled.
I'm glad to see Haru smiling again and also the gang here together like old times. I couldn't forget when Haru and I were nose to nose, I was so nervous, but I didn't do anything.
Memories are treasured, it will always be.
