Disneyland

   Josh had just gotten home from tour a week ago and the two of you immediately decided that you should get away. Just the two of you together. You both agreed on going to Disneyland for a day since it had been so long since either one of you had been there. Plus, you have never been to a theme park together so you were excited to see how it would go. 

   It was 10 o'clock in the morning on a Friday. The weather was perfect: it was sunny and warm but there was a slight breeze and the air smelled so clean & fresh. There was no better day than today to go to Disneyland. You and Josh had just arrived at the large colorful theme park hand in hand and you were instantly overwhelmed by all the people, sounds, and rides. He had the hugest smile on his face, "Oh my gosh this is amazing! It would be cool if Tyler was here, but I'm really happy that it's just the two of us" and he leaned down to kiss you on the cheek, making you smile almost as large as him. You laughed, "Yeah I agree. Can we stop standing around and go now? I wanna go on as many rides as possible! Can we go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride? I've been wanting to go on that for a while." Josh nodded and the two of you walked across the whole theme park just for that ride, ocassionally stopping to take pictures or get food. 

   Honestly, you were a little scared as you stepped on the boat in the dark cave. You were squeezing onto Josh's hand so you wouldn't lose your balance, even though it wasn't even a real boat. The two of you sat in the back of the "boat" and he wrapped his arm around you as the vehicle started to move forward. You just sat back and looked all around, then creepy music from the movie started playing and it echoed throughout the whole cave. The boat was peacefully and slowly moving through the water, with super realistic robot pirates moving all around you, and suddenly everything went pitch black and the boat slid down a steep slant. Water went splashing on you, making you shiver from the sudden coldness. Josh laughed, "Well that came out of no where." He was perfectly fine and dry, meanwhile your jeans and shoes were wet. You didn't even care though because you actually really enjoyed the ride. It made you feel better that he was next to you.

   Josh said, "Alright, we gotta go on the Matterhorn ride now! Agh I've been on it before and it's so fun." You asked, "Oh definitely! I've never heard of that one though!" He gave you the shadiest look ever, "Oh you just wait. It's awesome." You followed him to that ride and you were hit with a huge snow mountain thing. Was that the ride? You had no idea what you were getting yourself into. All you knew is that you hated rollercoasters and scary things... little did you know is that this ride was both of those. You got on the ride and sat besides Josh, of course, and he looked so excited. This is going to be so fun! The ride started and you moved really fast into a dark hole, entering the inside of the mountain structure. It was dark and this was not what you expected. You tightly gripped onto Josh's arm, you were so mad at him for not telling you that it was going to be this fast and scary! Suddenly you heard a loud growling and a Yetti monster jumped out in front of you, roaring so loud that you covered your ears. You nearly jumped out of the damn vehicle, luckily you had the strap to keep you in your seat. Josh just laughed and yelled the whole way as the vehicle drove really fast. You kept your eyes closed the entire time and you just kept on hearing screaming and roars the whole rest of the ride. The ride soon ended and you got off the ride and Josh said, "See? Wasn't that fun?" You gave him a death glare then hit his chest, "Josh, you suck. That was so scary oh my gosh I thought I was going to die." He laughed and pulled you into a hug, "Aww, you're such a big baby." You couldn't help but laugh, it was so true. You were the biggest wimp ever, but he loved that about you. 

   Throughout the day the two of you went on a ton of Disney rides and laughed and smiled together. It was now 6 o'clock at night and it wasn't completely dark, but it was sunset. This was it. Now it was the time for you to go on the Haunted Mansion ride. You were terrified by this ride and you've never been on it, but a while ago you lost a dare to Josh and now you had to go on it for the first time. Josh reminded you, "Alright, remember how you lost that bet? It's time to go to the Haunted Mansion! Don't worry, it'll be fun. I've been on it a few times." You stood in front of the ride in fear, "You said that the Matterhorn ride was going to be fun but that was terrible." He laughed and dragged you onto the ride. The ride started and needless to say, you were scared shitless. It was a bunch of fog, darkness, spooky sounds, pop-ups, and ghosts. This was not okay with you. You just thought happy thoughts as the vehicle countinued through the mansion but it didn't really work. Finally, after what felt like forever, the ride ended and you immediately ran out of there. It was dark and cold now and Josh gave you a warm hug and kissed you on the lips, "Ugh, I don't want to leave but it's time to go home. I love you so much." You smiled and looked up at him, "I love you, too" and he led you out the gates and into the Disneyland parking lot. 

   Today was one of the best days of your life. You felt like such a little kid again. Even though you were in Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth, Josh was the one who made your day this incredible. No fun and colorful children's ride could make you as happy as Josh could. If he wasn't with you, your day would've sucked.

A/N: IDK about this one. It took me a really long time to write for some reason. I hope you like it though. I just feel like there isn't enough interaction or fluff I don't even know but I'm publishing it anyway so... yeah. I'll make sure to put up a better one though soon :)
