Elliot woke up with a gasp. His blue eyes wide with shock. He has that dream again, why?
'He who would save us all? The fuck does that mean? Ugh, I need my coffee.'
He glanced at the side and saw his fraternal twin sleeping soundly. Jared was always a heavy sleeper and the more laid back twin. He shook his head. He was jealous, to be honest. His brother doesn't have the expectations of a heir.
He walked out of their room and to the direction of the dining room. As he was walking, he tried to fix his brown hair so that he would at least appear to be presentable.
But at the same time, he was happy that Jared didn't experience all the hardships he went through to impress the Council. He was glad that at least one of them was able to enjoy life. His brother got to enjoy going to an Outsider high school and experience popularity among his peers. Yes, he was being trained but that was just purely for self defense. He was planning on living a nornal life, after all.
He sighed. He just wished he was also there by his side.
All the servants that he passed bowed to him in respect.
"Good morning, young master." He nodded back as a greeting. And then he caught sight of his best friend, Shiki Lauster.
"Good morning, young master." Shiki grinned cheekily.
"Fuck off." Elliot grumbled.
"Someone needs their morning coffee." He glared at the laughing boy.
The both of them entered the dining room and took their respective seats, Elliot at the head of the table and Shiki at his right. The chefs immediately placed their breakfast in front of them.
Elliot quickly grabbed the coffee and finished all of it in 10 seconds. The maid by the door then hurriedly refilled his mug.
"So, ready for the etiquette lessons later?" Shiki asked. When he saw his best friend grimace at the thought of etiquette, he grinned.
"Good, I'm not alone then."
They both turned their heads to Jared who just entered. They snickered when they saw his notorious bed hair.
"Shut up." Jared grumbled. He took his seat to his brother's left.
"You ready to go to school, bud?" Elliot smirked, is grey eyes twinkling in amusement.
"Don't act like you're older than me." His brother retorted.
"I'm only younger by a few minutes." He grinned.
"All this twin talk frustrates me." Shiki piped in.
"Anyway, you two are coming with me to school."
"What?" They both stared at him like he grew a second head.
"Today is parent's day. It is mandatory for students to bring their parents to school so that they can observe how our system works. They also need to sit in the back of the class so that they could see how well their child participates. But as you know, mom and dad are busy. As always." He snorted. "So I need two people that do not go to school to act as the guardians."
"Well..." the best friends looked at each other and they shrugged.
"Anything that gets me out of those horrid etiquette lessons." Shiki said.
"But do the Council know?"
"Yeah, they already gave me the permission to borrow you guys for a day."
As they walked in the hallway of Jared's school, the both of them deduced that they were the youngest guardians there as they were the same age as the students. Meanwhile, the gossip mill of the school was already running wild as the handsome and charismatic Jared Fantom walked with two more gorgeous people.
"Yo, Red!" Jared suddenly grinned as he caught sight of his group of friends.
"Red?" Elliot raised an eyebrow.
"It's just a nickname." Jared rolled his eyes. Honestly, the Council should give the two of them a break. It's why they're anti-social.
"Hey, introduce us to your friends, 'Red'." Shiki said, slipping his arm to his shoulders.
He glared at his brother's best friend but he complied anyway.
"So this are my friends. Emily," she gave a wave. "Anna," she smiled at them. "Drew," He gave them the peace sign. "And Tony." He nodded at them.
"And guys," he gestured at the two of them. "This is my twin brother Elliot and his best friend Shiki."
The hallway suddenly went quiet and then they realized that the students that were still hanging out in the hallway were listening to their conversation. Jared facepalmed. By the time lunch started, all of the students will know of this.
"You never told us you had a brother. And a twin at that." Drew gave Jared an accusing glare with a hint of betrayal.
"But they don't look alike." Emily observed.
"Well, duh. There's this thing called fraternal twins." Anna snorted.
And Elliot stayed silent in all of this, but the amusement he was feeling was practically oozing from him.
He suddenly laughed.
The girls were left swooning at the angelic laugh that he let out.
"If we don't enter you class, you guys are going to be late." He stated.
"Fuck."

A/N: So this is a boring chapter. But there are new characters! Yay!
And I just made up the parent's day thing. I don't really know what they do in school in other countries as google refused to give me an accurate answer.
And it is necessary for my story.
