When I hit the ground. That's when Spencer really lost it, immediately going at James as they tackled one another to the ground. I was still in shock, confused, and sitting on the ground rubbing my cheek, positive a red mark was forming. As my stomach slowly throbbed, I knew I'd be heading back to the hospital wing eventually. My watchful eyes didn't even notice the students who were being woken by all the commotion, slowly and then all at once making their way downstairs. Boys, pulling the two apart. Aiden, lifting me completely off the ground and touching my slightly swollen and flared cheek, his eyes wide and angry.
"Who did it?" He asked, his tone of voice one I had heard too many times that night.
I chuckled, my Weasley sense of humor kicking in. "Don't you go starting a fight now too, Mr. Wood." I said with a laugh. His eyes softened, and we both looked over to James and Spencer being held back as McGonagall rushed in.
"Goodness gracious, Gryffindors! What is all the commotion?!" She cried. "Potter, McClaggen. Right this way." Her voice rang throughout the tower, as the two boys walked solemnly after the old Headmistress.
Something told me it was going to be a long night.

As I sat staring at the fire in the early hours of the morning, James strolled back into the common room. He plopped down next to me and rubbed his forehead.
"McClaggen has been through here, I assume?"
"He wasn't even in the common room for a minute. He was in, then he was up to his dorm."
"I've got some interesting news, Josie."
"I think I can take a guess."
James leaned foreword and set his chin in his hand, his voice slightly muffled as he stated, "Mum and Dad are paying us a visit tomorrow." I sighed deeply.
"Yea. I figured as much." I paused, to see if James was going to speak. He clearly wasn't. So I moved on. "I'll do you a favor. I'll handle Mum for you." He shot up, clearly surprised, as he smiled that same old classic smile.
"You're literally the best sister ever." He stated.
I stood up and begin the ascent up to the girls dorms, my head shaking as I smiled. "Don't let Lily catch you saying that."

The bright sunlight warmed my face as I lay in bed the next morning, feeling groggy and well rested. Good. I thought, well rested is what I'll need to be after this morning.
I got up after a quick stretch and got ready for the day. My long, shiny black hair was a right mess, so I tried to brush it out, but to no avail. Throwing it up into a ponytail, I sighed deeply and checked my appearance one last time before stepping out of the girls dorm and down the stairs, to see James waiting patiently on the couch for me. He smiled cheekily.
"Good Morning, I was beginning to think you had died."
"Sod off! I was having a bit of a sleep in."
"I can tell. Come on, they're waiting for us."
As we stepped out of the common room, many Gryffindors looked our way, and despite their grim faces, you could tell they just really wanted to laugh. If the Potter twins weren't on their way up to a teachers office at least once a week, something was off. We were quite the trouble makers, so as we walked we didn't act any different than we normally would. By the time we had reached McGonagalls Gargoyle, we had already engaged in a hot debate on the subject of Quidditch.
"Absolutely not James. The Chudley Cannons can not and will not beat the Harpies, it's not even possible! I can't believe you would side with the Cannons anyway, if you've forgotten, our own mum plays for the damn Harpies-"
"No no no, Jo, the Harpies lost to Puddlemore last week!" He stared at the gargoyle before scratching the back of his neck. "Urm, Lemon Drops." As the gargoyle revealed the staircase, we kept going, while stepping up the stairs quickly. "The Cannons will surely do them in."
"But don't forget, the Montrose Magpies play the Kenmare Kestrals next weekend, so if the Magpies win-"
"But they won't, Jo! The Kestrals haven't lost a game in three seasons-"
"Mr. and Ms. Potter, kindly take a seat." McGonagalls crisp voice called from her desk, as we realized we had just walked in to her office, our parents sitting pristinely on the large couch seated in front of her desk. We chose the two seats closest to McGonagalls desk, earning a look from mum.
"Why have you sat there and not here, on the other end of the couch?" Mum questioned suspiciously.
James chuckled. "Because, dearest mum, these are our seats."
"The only thing missing is our names." I finished with a smile.
Dads eyes widened. "How often are you here?" He demanded, his expression livid.
"Depends on who we've angered, honestly. We aren't always in this specific office." I smirked. James and I shared a high five at our parents horrified expressions.
"Alright. Come with me, Josephine." Dad said sternly, rising to his feet. I smirked once more.
"Oh no dad, James has told me he would prefer to talk this out with you himself."
~~
"Josephine Rachelle! I will not allow you to use such language in front of me!"
"I'm being serious! He was being a right dick and I did what I could to at least attempt to make him not be such a prick. Why can he date whoever and I can't?"
"Josephine watch your language."
"Answer the question mum!"
"Because that's just how brothers are!" She cried, exasperated. "Trust me. I've got six. It's just a natural instinct! Now if you would please, Josie, there is topic I would really like to get on."
I sighed. "What would that be, Mum?" I asked in my sweetest voice.
"I didn't realize how much trouble you actually got up to here at Hogwarts. Josie, no more of this." She said, waving her arms around to indicate the office. "No more of this getting Mummy and Daddy called down to school. Your father is going through a lot right now at the ministry, things you wouldn't understand-"
"Try me." I said, my arms crossed.
My mums eyes widened, and a moment later, she emitted a sigh.
"Alright, but this stays in the family."
