"What?! Why?! Who are you? What do you want? I'm not going anywhere with you," I say, words rushing out of my mouth as I step back with every step he takes forward.
"My name is Lacyel. I am an angel sent from The Lord to bring you to him. You must come with me," he demands. My eyes widen. What is he talking about? Lord? He's a angel? This doesn't make sense. Is this a joke? This is sick.
"You kidding, right?" I say, not so sure if I should believe this crazy person.
"No, I am not. You are destine-" he stops himself and looks up at the sky. I give him a weird look and look up too. I try to see what he's looking at but I don't see anything. Then I realize maybe this is a time to get away from this creep so I slowly slide back into my car. I'm totally confused but I don't care, I'm going to Jenny's place. I hear that strange man sigh, "You ar-"
He gets cut off from me slamming and turning on the cars engine, making a loud roar. I lock the doors as I back up the car, seriously hopping that he'll get out of the way so I won't run over him. I take a second turn to look at the stranger to see if he's still standing there behind my car, but he's gone.
"What?" I say in confusion. Hoping he ran off, I take my attention back to the drive way in front of me and go forward. I'm almost out of the parking lot when I see someone standing at the exit of the driveway. Gasping, I slam of the breaks, stopping with just a few inches in front of him. I hear Jenny mumble something is annoyance next to me.
Wait, wasn't he behind me? Didn't he leave? How the hell did he get over here? Nobody's that fast, and I didn't even see him! It's like he just appeared from thin air, which is ridiculous.
"Are you insane!?" I call out to him, outraged and frightened. He places a hand on the hood of the car and the cars engine turns off and the doors unlock. What!?
"I need you to get out the car, there isn't much time," he says.
My hands start to shake under the wheel. "Leave me alone, you creep!"
The man starts to walk towards my side of the car. I fish out for my phone is my little purse but I struggle as my hangs tremble and just when I thought I had my phone, I dropped it where my feet are at. "Shit." I need to call for help! I finally grasped my phone and starts dialing 911 when my door gets swung open. I flinch and look up as I see the strange man in white stand there.
"Please, get out of the vehicle."
I look back at my phone to press dial, but it's gone. It's not in my hand anymore. But I didn't drop it this time, where did it go?
"I'm not gonna ask again."
My blood runs pail as I step out the car, then closing the door behind me.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"The Lord has asked for you. you must come with me."
"What Lord?!" I shout, annoyed.
"I mean God." He says smoothly, as if it was obvious. "You are destine to marry his son, Gabriel, and bring salvation to your world."
"Me? Marry Gabriel? Who's that?" I asked confused, getting distracted from the situation.
He looks at me for a moment, "Gabriel came to this world many, many years ago" he starts to explain. "Whom you call Jesus."
"Jesus? As in Jesus Christ? That's ridiculous." I say shaking my head and glare up at him, putting my hands on a hips. "What do you really want? I don't have time for playing games."
He gives me a hard look, "I am not playing games, this is real and you must come with me," he says in a hard tone.
Something about the way he said that makes me believe that he isn't kidding, and I hate that. If he isn't kidding, then that means... Nope, I am not gonna believe this guy.
