Chapter Ten

Spade was holding her hand and she's used to it. He was carrying her bag and she's used to it. He was walking first and she's following him. She was very used to it. His presence, his movements, the way he looked and speak, she's very aware of everything about him. Everything.

"I was assigned to help him!" she shouted.

He was silent. He was cursing and she already had her quota of drama for the day.

"Fuck that help. Fuck that play. Fuck that contest. Who's your professor?!" he spit angrily, grounding his teeth.

"Don't you dare meddle on this, Fairsleigh." she warned him. He was looking at her with so much wrath.

"If I saw him looking at you on that dress as if he's taking your clothes---"

"He is not looking at me like that. Ironically, your mind is so twisted and the imaginations of your brain is beyond RI-DI-CU-LOUS!!!"

"I will take his eyes off his face. I will crush his skull to tiny little fucking pieces. My brain is ridiculous? Hell yeah! Hell fucking yeah! I will--"

"Oh God, Spade, will you stop it?!"

"I will make sure that every--"

"Spade!" she hissed but he doesn't care if they're getting too much attention.

"I don't and will never bow down to anyone. Anyone. You are my only exception. No one gets to take advantage of you. I have a twisted mind?! Whatever. I'm a man. I know that look. I KNOW THAT LOOK!" he screamed. She shut up. She shut up and swallowed very hard.

"You are very talented in getting everyone's attention," she said softly- in a sarcastic humorous way.

"When the woman I cherish the most is being exasperated, I don't have that much choice." he spoke in gritted teeth. And they both look at each other.

"You not done yet?" tanong ni Aron. He just appeared behind them. She didn't answer. Spade just stared at his friend as if he was stupid.

"She's not going to follow you, you should know that by now. She's your Ace remember?" turan ni Aron na natatawa. And then she felt the guilt.

Napaka O.A naman kasi masyado. Okay fine, see-through yung damit ko sa play, hindi ko alam kung bakit kasama ako sa play, at nangingilabot ako sa tingin ni Harold but---

This is actually Keith's fault. Sinabihan ko ng 'wag sasabihin kay Spade. Kung anu-anong alibi na nga ang pinagsasabi ko sa mga rehearsals eh tapos ito namang si Keith, hindi matahimik ang kaluluwa.

OMG, he's overprotective. Nacancel yung play dahil sakanya. Imbis na tapos na, kailangan naming magperform ulit dahil sa bwiset na impluwensya ng unggoy na 'to.

"If you just let us finish the play eh di sana tapos na. Sa tingin mo ika-cancel yun dahil sayo? For Pete's sake Spade, that will cost my grade," inis na paliwanag niya dito at hindi pinansin ang remark ni Aron.

"Who's forsaking me?" biglang singit ni Peter. She rolled her eyes and started to walked away from everyone. Walang sense makipag away kay Spade pag nandyan ang dalawang alepores nito dahil puro sila sulsol at biro. Isa pa, nasa daan sila papuntang Full House at sobrang dami ng nakatingin sa kanila. Wala syang balak maging sentro ng chismis, dahil alam nyang kotang kota na sya simula ng ma-involve kay Spade.

"Don't you dare walked out on me!" he shouted. She rolled her eyes again. And yes, she knew that she'll pay for it. He never forgot to count it and asked for the payment at the end of their day everyday. Kaya kahit anong away nila, natatapos ang lahat sa kiss, magkaaway man o magkabati.
