Author's Note

First of all, thank you so much for giving this story a chance. It was my first story ever and I had no clue what to expect but I didn't expect the comments to motivate me and make me smile like they did. So thank you for taking time to read, vote, and comment. Or even if you didn't vote, thanks for reading. But come on, you read to the end! Throw me some votes. :)

I love you guys so much, you can't even understand! I remember when I started writing Foreign Affair (about two years ago if you can believe it). I got about eight chapters in, I was getting zero votes, and I decided it was a horrible story and I was going to quit writing it. Well months later I got just bored enough to pick it up again. All it took was one person commenting that they enjoyed it and I wanted to write all the time. I can't believe I ended up with over a hundred chapters.

I always used to start reading the suggested stories that have a million votes and I would think they're generally bad so I'd get discouraged because my story isn't anywhere near that many votes. So I'd think I clearly don't know what people like to read. But I've started to realize that the fun was in writing it. It just took a handful of readers commenting to make it fun for me.

So maybe a year from now more people will have discovered my story or maybe a year from now I'll have the exact same number of reads. But either way, thank you for making it fun for me and writing funny comments and recommending this book to your friends.

If I decide to start a new book, you'll be the first to know! I'll probably post a chapter in here to tell you about it. But who knows! I can never top Niall and Liv but I'm hopeful I'll come up with a good idea simply because this is fun for me.

Update: I have started a new book! It's called Water Under The Bridge. It's a little more fast paced and plenty mature haha. Niall is kind of the douchey womanizing type in it (which is obviously not true in real life at all but it's fun to write about). I hope you'll check it out!
