I peeped my head through the willow tree's leaves, panting slightly from running.
I saw Jayden sitting, all crouched up at the trunk, crying and shaking more than like a leaf.
"Jayden!" I cried, running over to him and jumping straight on top of him, hugging him protectively.
We toppled to the ground, but I didn't care, I couldn't be more happy to see him alive.
He, on the other hand, screamed of fright and looked at me alarmed.
I held his face as we were suddenly facing each other on the ground.
"Are you okay?" I said softly.
He shook his head hastily. "N-no." He shivered.
"What happened?" I moved my hands to his collarbone.
"T-the big bald guy was chasing me, h-h-he was all red and his eyes w-were black. I was all alone and he t-trapped m-me."
I gasped.
Marcus.
"What did he do?!"
"H-he gave me a piece of paper." He shook, super disturbed.
"What did it have on it?!" I asked frantically, moving my hands to his shoulders.
He couldn't stop shaking as he reached to his pocket.
He handed me the paper. But I couldn't see anything on it.
"Six?" A girl's voice sounded from behind me.
I swung around, Mia was standing behind me, Jayden was so horrified he hadn't even noticed.
"Six?" I looked at her.
"Yeah? That's what the scary man gave you?" She pointed to the piece of paper.
Jayden nodded at his sister like she was Marcus, himself. His terrified eyes may have not made a sound, but in my ears they screamed something was wrong.
"G-get away from me!" He screamed at her.
She looked startled all of a sudden, frowning confusedly and looking to me for support.
"Come here, Mia." I said softly.
She reluctantly walked towards me, as I sat up and placed her on my lap.
"Jayden's just a bit loony at the moment, somebody gave him some medicine and he thinks you're something else." I whispered in her ear. She giggled a little, something I didn't expect.
"Okay." She whispered back.
"Ge-get away! Don't touch me! Don't-D-Don't!!" He screeched.
"Where's your parents?!" I suddenly turned to her, realising they hadn't come.
"I don't know, they just disappeared and I saw you then running to the bush."
"W-what about Trent and Austin?" I asked.
"Same, I don't know." She said with a hint of doubt noticing how frantic my replies were.
"Are you deaf?!? I said GET AWAY!!" Jayden screamed his highest at her.
At this point I knew it wasn't Jayden at all.
We scrambled back as he roared.
A deaf defying roar.
Mia squealed at the top of her lungs as I held her tight. "Shhh!" I clasped her mouth. "It's okay!" I nodded, our faces close together.
He roared once again, next thing I knew I was out of the tree's slight enclosure and out into the open, with a petrified Mia holding on to me tight.
