"Jayden!" I heard Rhia's high pitched scream call out my name, as I turned to see her running towards me.

"I missed you, I missed you, I missed you!!" She rambled before her body was attached to mine with a warm hug.

I laughed loudly, "I missed you more you cheeky thing!" She giggled and let go, it'd been weeks.

After that late night walk we had of her and my family, we became closer, but because of plans for me on the X-factor, we had to ditch each other for a couple of weeks.

We texted all the time, we were becoming pretty good friends. Not lovers, as our promise had proposed.

Her tiny body against mine jumped back to the ground, her feet dipping to the floor.

"We have SO much to discuss!" Said Rhia, as she started taking steps.

"Like what?" I smiled, not expecting unexpected Rhia to reply, unexpected as usual,

"Marcus Cooby." Her smile had faded, but it was still there a little.

"Oh." I raised my eyebrows.

"Shall we sit down?"

"Yeah," I shook my head, stabilizing my steps that were getting unsteady.

We sat on a park bench and I waited for her to speak.

She waited a little bit, staring at me blankly.

"Well... He wants to kill you." She said so simply, looking down as her voice faded.

"What...?" I tried to hear again.

"Marcus. He wants you dead."

She didn't seem in too much of a hurry to stop him, really. Everything she was saying was in monotone, as if she wasn't even worried.

She whacked my arm, the bruise only just healing, same old place as usual.

"My arm's going to fall off if you're not careful!" I joked, but she only smiled timidly.

"I have a plan though!" She turned her body towards me, her hands sprung out like she was trying to grab and knife and fork.

"Like what?" I sounded uncertain.

"Well, we catch him first!"

"How on Earth are we meant to do that?! Didn't you say he was meant to be some demon thing?"

"Trust me." She nodded, looking in my eyes.

"How? How do I trust this? It's something I'll never understand, all... all this spiritual stuff. Its insane, Rhia, help me out, come on."

"Problem is, I'm not allowed to interfere properly, like, physically, when you won't OK this." She ignored me comment before.

"OK what?"

"OK the fact that I'm going to be the one to save your life?" She nodded like I should have known that, eyes nearly bulging out of her head.

"I've OK'd that from the start, I-I didn't actually think he wanted to like, hunt me down. I just thought it was gonna be a bunch of creepy threats and a few scares and then...?"

"I could have sworn I told you something before about this." She shook her head, staring intently at me.

"I don't know. I guess the word 'death' makes me a little more shivery than just things like 'after you' or 'looking for you',"

"Yeah. I know." She rubbed my sore arm.

"...You are one of the most confusing girls I have ever met." I looked to her hand and back up at her.
