The Runaway [READ THE DESCRIPTION]

Chapter 4

"Morning Brayden!" I said giving him a hug.

"Hey. Kara. Can I ask you something?" He said.

"You just did! haha but go on.." i replied wondering what the heck he was talking about.

"I know its kind of fast and all but, would you be my girlfriend?" I stood there for a minute letting what I just heard soak in. Was he really asking me to be his girlfriend?

"Y-yes." i said stuttering.

His face went from worried to glowing with happieness. He pulled me close and kissed me. The kiss was slow and gentle at first but then we started making out. It did feel like it was going a little fast for me. I mean. I just met the guy. Now I'm his girlfriend and we're making out?! I pulled away and stared into his eyes.

Five days later his parents came back home and didn't mind that I had been staying in the guest room for a week. I breathed a sigh of relief. The day before they got back, we did something I wish we hadn't. A month later and we were still doing stuff unprotected. I noticed I was gaining a little bit of weight and took a pregnancy test. It was positive.

"Brayden."

"Yes honey?" he said dazed.

"I'm pregnant."

"You're what!?" he whisper yelled.

"I'm pregnant Brayden. It's yours." I said smiling.

"You know Kara, I don't think we're gonna work out." My smile vanished and my heart sank when I heard that.

"Are you breaking up with me?"

"Yeah." he replied cooly.

"You're leaving me because I'm pregnant with your child?!" I started crying.

"I can't believe this! I just don't understand..." I said. He was slient. 

I left his house never once turning back and went to a pregnancy clinic. I told them what had happened but I clearly stated I did NOT want an abortion.

*back to the present*

I quickly ran back to my car with Kason. i climbed in the front seat and placed Kason in the back seat. He climbed in his car seat and buckeled himself in. We headed home, which was a motel considering we had to move around a lot for safety. 

When we got to our motel room I found a note taped to the door. I took it down and unfolded it.
