--Jared's P.O.V--
"Hi." She smiled.
Leslye was my younger sister. I was born in January and she was born in December. We were quite some time apart. But we were still the same age. Therefore, we were in the same grade.
Aaron kind of smiled at her and Danielys kept eating.
"So...how has your first day been?" I asked her.
"Well it's been good. I made a friend. Her names Erika. She's really nice. And she's kind of like me." She smiled and took a bite of her sandwich.
Well at least one of us had had a good day so far.
She continued to eat and I just sat there thinking.
Aaron kept looking at me and trying to bring up conversation. He would switch between talking to me and Danielys. He kept smiling at me and Danielys just gave me glares once in a while.
--Aaron's P.O.V--
Jared wouldn't really talk to me. He was more focused on Danielys and his 'fabulous' sister Leslye. She wasn't even that great. Didn't he see her this morning? Since they live together?
Jared kept trying to talk to Danielys and she kept ignoring him. He always smiled and seemed brave but I just hope that her attitude hadn't scared him.
The whole time Leslye had been sitting at the table she seemed to be lost in her thoughts. As if she was in another world. She seemed interesting. But not as interesting as Jared.
They shared some features. Both of their eyes were kind of alike.
But Jared's were browner. They were nicer. They had a little....sparkle in them.
I was in a deep conversation with him until a teacher blew the whistle declaring that lunch was over.
Stupid teacher.
We all got up and Leslye & Danielys threw out their trash. Jared hugged Leslye goodbye as if he was afraid to let her go.
Sometimes I wish I had siblings too.
