Chapter 6/Stoick and Hiccup chat

Hiccup

I knew that this is going to be hard for Stoick. He just came back to Berk in five years and he just defeated his enemy, Viggo Grimborn from destroying Berk. I whistled for Toothless and I climbed into his saddle and flew after him. I saw Darklite and thanks to Tobias, I can speak fluent Dragonese. I said, "Darklite, slow down, will ya?" "Hiccup! What you doing here? I thought you-" "I need to talk to Stoick. He needs some fatherly advice." "Sure, go on ahead, I tried talking to him, but..." "He didn't want to listen what you going to say, I get the feeling." "Good luck trying to talk to him, Hic. He seems to be overwhelm about all of this." I nodded at the Night Fury and looked at his Rider. "Son." "Dad?"

Stoick

I need the peace and quiet. This is way too much for me to handle. Suddenly, I hear someone calling me. I turned to see who was calling me and it was my father! I said, "Dad?" He nods and said, "Hey, Son. Are you all right?" I sighed, "Dad, I don't know." He said, petting Toothless, "Son, I know that this is much more than defeating Viggo. You have to face your destiny." I said, "That's what I am worried about, Dad. What if I can't do it? What if I fail?" Dad said, "Son, you don't know what will happen if you don't try. Take me for instance. I didn't know if I was able to handle being a Chief, like Stoick the Vast. I was so afraid of becoming like him. But I guess that I have to try my best to become the best Chief in Berk. Stoick, I know you can defeat Pitch. You and your friends can save all the children of the world from him. Think of them as your extended family you need to protect them from." I thought about his advice and he's right. I have to face him, no matter how scared I am. "You're right, Dad. We can do this. I'm going to find the other teens and give them the heads up." Dad grinned, "That's the Tobias I know." 

Eric

I was going to the Academy when I saw Tobias. He said, "Eric, can you get Lizzie, Elizabeth and Thor? Ash and I need to tell you guys something important." I said, "Sure thing, Stoick. I'll get them right away." I rounded up the other teens and we met up with  Ash and Tobias in the Cove. Elizabeth asked, "Why we meeting in the Cove for?" I rolled my eyes, "Because, Elizabeth, Stoick want to say something important." Stoick said, "Of course I would do the meeting in the Great Hall, but I figured it is best to do it here in the Cove instead." Thor asked, "So, what seems to be the problem?" Ash said, "Well, earlier today, Tobias and I were in a new land that we discovered and we found something is very weird in the woods. We investigated and it was a man named Pitch Black." I said, "Pitch Black? The Guardian of Fear? He's back?" Stoick nodded, "Yeah, and here's the worst part: He's more powerful than ever and the Guardians can't defeat him." Elizabeth said, "That's horrible! Is there anything we can do?" Stoick laughs at her question. "Glad you asked that, Elizabeth. That's the real reason I brought you all here. We are going to fight Pitch." We looked at him as if he gotten nuts. "Uh, repeat that again?" Lizzie asked. Ash said, "He meant that we can help the Guardians, we are the ones chosen to defeat him with the help of the Guardians." I said, grinning, "So, basically, this is some sort of a team-up?" Stoick said, "Yep. If you don't want to go-" Lizzie said, "Are you seriously asking that question?" Thor said, "I would love to cause pain and destruction!" I said, "I'm not letting you get all the fun by yourself, Haddock." Ash said, "We'll be with you every step of the way. So, what's our next move?"
