I had the same nightmare again. All the rooms were still the same and yet I still don't know who stabbed me or why I had neck pain. Everything was so confusing. I could feel power radiating from the dreams. No, Premonitions. This would happen when I faced Isolde in her palace of ice.

I woke up in a cold sweat. Leo was sitting up against the cave wal,l staring at me with glowing, green eyes. He was playing his guitar. I wish I had been awake to hear it. He plays very well.

"Same nightmare?" he asked, returning his gaze to his instrument. How did he know I had had it before?

"How did you-," he cut me of and pointed to my head.

"You know how," he said in a playful tone. Then, I realized. I must have said the name again. The one that saves me. Whatever that means. I pull myself out of the sleeping bag and into the freezing air. I shivered, but just a little.

I sat next to Leo and listened to his music. He was working on a new song that could be used to tell our tale. Not that he'd ever play it. Just pass it on to some minstrel.

It was now apparent that the storm wasn't going to let up. It had been the same for five days. We were going to be here a while. What was worse, the temperature was dropping, and Leo, but I still had a lot of firewood.

I had sat at the mouth of the cave, once. I was simply watching the flurry as it piled the snow around my ankles and, then, kicking it away. Sometimes, it would trick my eyes and I could see figures dancing in the breeze. In one of them I could see two dancing around each other.

"How long is this going to go on? We've been stuck here for three days with no change in the storm," I said grimly. "For two of those, I was marching to save the prince. He could be dead by now!

"Don't know. But I'm not worried." Leo had nearly snuck up on me and was now standing in front of me. He extended his hand and helped me to my feet. We were both standing like statues in the entrance. He brushed a bit of hair from my face and smiled. Then, without warning or reason, I hugged him.

Leo had a slightly happier look on his face that day. He was smiling a bit and was taking quick glances at me as if I was going to do something else.

He studied what I did to occupy my time, now. I would use a stick to sketch in the dirt. While I did this, I would either hum or sing very softly. I felt that the little piece of home would keep me sane.

Leo would sit on the ceiling, pretending to sleep, but I could tell he was listening. The way he was breathing gave him away. While he hung there, it was slow and steady. I could also he him peeking his eyes open a bit to see what I was drawing.

It was just simple things like trees, flowers, or a sword, but then I drew a dagger. I had never seen it before. Wait...! Yes, I had.

I studied my drawing for a while. It felt like hours and I must have looked hypnotized. The dagger was exquisite. It was double sided and the hilt held a small gem at the bottom.

"What's that?" asked Leo, landing on the floor. "You where staring at that thing for at least half an hour."

"Huh... Oh, It's nothing. I was just thinking," I lied. He sat down, intent on listening.

"About?" This vampire sure was enjoying our little dilemma. He used every moment he could to get near me. I hated it.

"The future I guess," I replied. Leo only nodded.

Author's Note: The reason that there's so much graphics in the book is that I was going through a tough time at home and school. I was a little depressed and sometimes it was hard to control.
