I woke up the next day excited to be getting Kevin from the hospital. I was really looking forward to getting to spend some alone time with him, even if it was because he was injured. I guess it's ironic how Ryan wanted him to stay away from me but instead brought us closer together. I still can't believe Kevin was going to kiss me yesterday, it still feels like a dream even now I've had a chance to process it. I climbed out of bed once I came into the present again and proceeded to shower and get ready for the day. Once I was out of the shower I chucked on a pair of light blue skinny jeans, a white tank top, and a plaid shirt. After drying my hair I put it in a messy bun, sprayed some of the body spray Jenna loves, then started to pack a bag to take to Kevin's.

After packing my bag I slipped into my converse, grabbed my car keys, and headed out the front door making sure to lock it behind me. The police haven't managed to track down Ryan, after his fight with Kevin he fled the scene and nobody has been able to track him down. He would have to be an idiot to come here, but then again it is Ryan. Once I was in my car I quickly checked the time, it was fifteen minutes to noon. I was on time, the hospital was about a ten to fifteen minute car drive away. When I got to the hospital, I quickly jumped out the car and locked it. I couldn't wait to see Kevin, even though I had been there all day yesterday. I was just walking up to the main desk when someone called out,

"hey Ellie!"

I turned around to see Kevin sitting there in the waiting area with his bags.

"Hey, Kevin!" I ran up and hugged him.

I was about to pull away when he pulled me down so I was sitting across his lap.

"Easy Kev, I don't want to hurt you," I was still concerned about his surgery, even if he wasn't.

"Ellie you could never hurt me."

I could feel my blush hitting my cheeks as I tried to hide my face from him, but as usual it was no use. He cupped my face to make me look at him.

"I'm so happy you're here," he whispered, as he lent his forehead against mine.

His gaze was on my lips and I couldn't believe that he was going to try and kiss me again. I felt the butterflies in my stomach as he began to close the last bit of space between us, and then to my surprise there was nothing. As I pulled away confused, I couldn't help but smile at Kevin's frustrated face. His gaze had shifted to the entrance of the hospital, when I turned to look Jenna was heading towards us.

"I swear, one of these days I will kiss you," he sighed.

I started to chuckle as Jenna came up behind me.

"What's so funny?" She asked.

"Oh nothing," I smiled turning towards her.

I carefully climbed off of Kevin's lap and picked up both of our bags as the receptionist came towards us.

"So I just checked over the paperwork one final time and everything seems to be in order, so you are free to go Mr. McHale," she smiled, and walked away.

"Okay let's please get out of here, I don't think I could stand another minute of being in here." Kevin sighed, as me and Jenna helped him get up.

Jenna went back to her car and said she would meet us at Kevin's. I put mine and Kevin's bags in the trunk, while he slowly and carefully situated himself in the passenger seat. Once I was in the car we were ready to go, it was about a thirty minute drive to Kevin's from the hospital.

"Ryan hasn't bothered you while I've been in the hospital, has he?" Kevin asked.

"No, I haven't heard from him since he ran."

"Coward."

"Yup, he is. It doesn't matter though, because I have you," I smiled at him, then reached over to take his hand in mine.

He returned a bright smile and began to caress his thumb over the back of my hand. It was a comforting gesture that made me feel protected and close to him. It didn't take long for us to arrive at Kevin's, Jenna was already pulled up on the drive. As I gabbed the bags from the trunk, Jenna helped Kevin get out of the car. Once Kevin had the front door unlocked, we all piled in kicking off our shoes. The bags were abandoned at the front door, except for a DVD I had pulled out of mine. When Kevin and Jenna had collapsed onto the couch, I walked over to put the DVD in the player.

"I think we should watch a movie." I suggested.

"Yay!" Jenna clapped he hands together and smiled in excitement.

"What movie?" Kevin asked.

"You'll see," I smiled.

As Girls Just Want to Have Fun began to play Kevin groaned,

"Not again!"

Me and Jenna just laughed.

"Kevin you know you love it, so just admit it!" Jenna cried.

Jenna was sitting at one end of the couch and Kevin at the other end, so I sat in the middle but curled up in a ball against Kevin. Halfway through the movie Jenna got up to go to the bathroom, leaving me and Kevin alone.

"You smell good," Kevin sighed, burying his face into the side of my neck.

His warm breath against me made it impossible to  focus on the movie.

"It's the body spray Jenna likes," I smiled, as he started placing light kisses on my neck.

"Well, I can understand why she likes it," he wrapped an arm around me, curling more into my body as he began to make his way up my neck towards my lips.

Just as he was about to reach my lips, his phone went off.

"I swear, someone up there really hates me!" He groaned.

I watched as he read the text, and he furrowed his eyebrows. He sent a text back, then got up calling Jenna.

"Why do you do these things to me Jenna?" He said, as he stomped out of the living room.

When I picked up his phone to look at the text that made him so frustrated, I understood why. I still couldn't contain my laughter though. It was a text from Grant, who plays Sebastian Smythe on Glee.

Grant: I see I have been replaced (picture)

Kevin: I'm gonna kill Jenna!

The picture was taken from the living room entrance, of Kevin with his arm around me kissing his way up my neck. You couldn't see my face though because I was curled towards Kev, thankfully.
