"You're going to love your room." I murmur, keeping a steady hand on my slightly rounded stomach. "Whether your a beautiful baby girl," I hold up a pink outfit my mother gave to me, "Or a handsome little boy." I hold up another with the pattern of green camouflage that Caleb whined for me to buy.
Its been almost three months, and I just recently started to show. Caleb and I bought a house shortly after I told him. The fear of our child growing up in an itty bitty apartment, dug its way under my skin. Caleb got a higher position at Mikes Garage; mostly because Mike fell and broke his hip, placing him in the hospital. Now he's "Taking his time on getting better". So, Caleb's been in charge of the place for a few months now. He's supposed to get off in a couple more hours.... I continue sorting the little clothes into their specific areas for a little while longer, until I start getting hungry. I pad out into the kitchen, craving a sandwich.

"Isabelle." There's a soft voice, and a gentle hand. "Isabelle."
"Mmm." I mumble, not wanting to open my eyes.
"Come on, baby. Let me help you to bed."
"Caleb!" I smile, peaking open my eyes.
"Sorry I came home so late, baby. I was put behind at work."
"It's okay." I murmur, as my eyes start to slowly close. "Are you going to carry me?" I giggle.
"Anything for you." He kisses my forehead and I feel his arms wrap under my body. He picks me up bridal style and I lay my head gently on his shoulder.
"You love me." I murmur.
"I do."
"Through sickness and in health?" I start our little saying.
"Of course."
"Even when I'm a pain in your butt and I can't make it to our bed?"
"Especially then." He smiles. When he lays me on my side of the bed, I grab his hand before he gets too far away.
"Aren't you going to kiss us goodnight?" I smile, and he gets down on his knees. He lift my shirt and kisses my baby belly.
"I love you, squirt." He positions his ear on my lump, "Goodnight." He closes his eyes and smiles at the little heartbeat. When he opens his eyes he travels up to my forehead. "I love you, Isabelle. Goodnight.""Goodnight Caleb."

"You two are so cute."
I hold onto Caleb's arm, feeling warm inside.
"Don't take that lightly; she never gives compliments anymore." Jackson naturally spills out. Katie hits his arm and he breaks out into apologies and I love you's.
"You two are a package." Caleb laughs and I gently hit his arm, giving him a stern look. He holds his hands up in defense. Suddenly I hear the door open and in comes more.
"The party has arrived!" Justin announces.
"Justin!" I quickly walk over to my brother, pulling him into a hug.
"Hey, don't squeeze too hard!" Caleb's voice lowers, "I'm not prepared yet." Katie and Jackson laugh lightly.
"You think I'm ready?" I snort, looking back at him as I depart from my brother.
"Gosh, Caleb. The baby's not going to decided to come out when someone hugs her."
"Ella!" I greet, hugging my best friend. When I set back and get a good look I am mesmerized by her skin tone. "You got tan."
"And you got bigger!" She looks at my belly, and I craddle it.
"You only get away with it when their pregnant." Justin murmurs.
"When's the first x-ray?" Ella ignores him.
"Tomorrow." I proudly boast.
"I bet you're going to be showing off that baby's picture to everyone!" Ella pokes my stomach and I giggle.
"And we get to go together." Caleb comes behind me and I turn around.
"You got off!" I exclaim, feeling happiness bubble in my chest.
"Mike made a deal with me."
"A deal?"
"In order for me to take the day off, we will have to show him the picture."
"That sounds fair." We all laugh.
"Katie? You look so good; for a woman who's had two children!" Ella strolls across the room, greeting the other two who just stopped bickering.
"Yeah; imagine a third." She gives an exhausted sigh and holds her back.
"Jackson," Ella burst of laughter, "you look as if your going to cry!"
"Which is either good, or bad..." Justin whispers, so Caleb and I only hear it.
"Bad." Caleb whispers back. I hit his arm, making him chuckle.
"So Iz, what gender you want?" Katie changes the subject, all eyes turning on me.
"Um." I go blank. I haven't really thought about it. I mean sure I think about braiding my little girls hair, or taking my son to his first game (along with my husband). "I would love to have either." I finally say.
"Caleb?" Katie turns her eyes onto him.
"I will be thrilled to have either also, but I'm hoping for a little girl." He smiles.
"I did not see that coming." I murmur, making Ella laugh.
"She'll be just like her mother." He gently forms his hand over mine.
"You two." Ella shakes her head.
"What?" We both say again, only in unison.
"Why is everyone saying that?" I complain.
"Its cute." Katie peeps up.
"I have a feeling you guys are going go be the type of parents that embarrasses your child with Love."
"Never change." Katie smiles, "Because you're going to need one another." She pats Jacksons chest, "I never would've made it through both my pregnancies if it wasn't for this guy." She kisses his cheek and he turns pink.
"He's already making it easier." I smile towards my husband.
"Just wait hunny. You're almost half way- it goes down hill from there." Katie sighs.
"I'll be there." Caleb smiles. "I'll rub your feet whenever, I'll make sweet or sour food at random times, and I'll cry on commercials with you."
"Oh that last part is horrible." Katie groans and I shoot my head towards her.
"Oh, I know."
