you looked at him straight in his eyes and whispered,
"maybeeeee"
and then ran into his house where his surprise was.
"oh my goodness! mates this is rad! thank you!"
Cody went around hugging everyone. Jake and Oliver and Ruby and Sophie.
then Alli walked in.
man did Jake go crazy. he went up and grabbed her waist and she jumped into his arms and they kissed.
Cody looked at me and whispered,
dang... they've gotten us beat!"
I teasingly glared at him and said,
"Codes. we're not "a thing". THEY are a thing. they have every right to beat us!"
I winked at him and walked to Alli and the girls.
"dang Al. impressive!" I said teasing her.
Sophie commented,
"he's been waiting so long to do that!"
Ruby just laughed. it was great for everyone to be home! but then Cody yelled,
"A! AJ! c'mere!"
I went to him and he took me outside. he put his strong hands on my tiny waist and looked at me and asked me,
"did you enjoy that kiss?"
I looked honestly at him and said,
"well, I really didn't have any part in it... but I guess..."
I said very unassured.
*snap*snap*
Suddenly Cody wasn't holding me and was yelling at the press. they had seen us... this isn't good... not at all... this is exactly what we didn't want to happen!
"Cody! Come here!" I yelled.
he came to me. "we need to pretend to date. just pretend." I whispered.
"Kiss me!" he said.
