Plane Tickets and Bailey

Lawrence's POV:

"SHE WHAT?! NO! NO SHE WON'T! SHE IS ASKING TO GET PREGNANT AND SCREW HER AND CODY'S LIFE AND CAREER!" I exclaimed. I love Alli but I don't want her to screw her life up. I walked upstairs and knocked on Alli's door.

"Al?" I said.

"Heyyyy!" Alli said peppily.

"Can I talk to you?" I asked her.

"Yeah hold on! Let me tell Cody bye. One sec!"

Within a minute she was sitting on her neatly made bed, with her beautiful sea blue eyes shining.

"So why do you wanna talk about mate?"

I had forgot that her eyes could be that soft. Lately whenever we talked they would be fierce and blood shot. How could I tell her that I wasn't going to let her see her best friend/boyfriend/idol? How could I live with myself after I break her heart again? I realized that I couldn't.

"Al, I'm sorry I've been so mean. Let make it up to ya mate! I'll buy you a plane ticket to home and back. Will ya let me do that ehh?"

Her eyes lit up again. Brighter than ever before.

"Oh thank you! Thank you thank you thank youuu!" She screamed jumping off her bed and running into my arms.

Allison wasn't exactly petite. She was 5'10" and slim but very strong. I was 6'4" and holding her in my arms felt wonderful. The last time I held a child in my arms, was when my own daughter died. When I told her goodbye... Allison never let me hold her like that because we were always fighting... It felt good. Tears were forming up in my eyes and I tried to choke them back.

Allison looked up and said "Uncle, you okay? What's wrong? Thank you. I love you."

"Love, it's nothing that is wrong. It's memories. It hurt me to hold you in my arms. The last time I held someone in my arms was Bailey... When she died, I picked her up and held her in my arms one last time. She just grabbed me around my waist. She couldn't talk...she couldn't even breathe... She barely had the strength to move... But when she gripped, she let go at the same time..."
