Cody's voice was so beautiful... It was so soothing. I fell asleep while he was singing Love.
I woke up and Cody was still in the same spot on my bed singing.
I looked up and he saw me. "So did you enjoy the little part of "Love" that you heard before you fell asleep?"
"Yesss! Cody it is awesome! I wish I could go home so you and Alli could perform it for the mates! It is sweet!"
"Uhm...the performance will have to wait because you can't play" Cody told me and made a sad face.
"Cody! You're funny! Matt and the crew need to hear it! I'll sing... but how am I supposed to play the guitar with an IV in one wrist and a brace on the other?" I told him winking.
*knock knock*
"Hello?" said this tall thick male figure.
"Hey Doctor!" Cody said.
"Oh A, this is Dr. Andrews, your doctor."
"Oh... hello. I'm Allison Jane Smith... So uhm Doc, what's wrong with me?" I asked him.
"Allison Jane, you have fractured your wrist, dislocated your knee, and strained and sprained your ankle. And you have a bruised side-back... You also have a mild concussion... but because you've been asleep, it hasn't really affected you. You are very VERY fortunate that you only have these things. Most people have broken bones... or worse... but that didn't happen to you." Dr. Andrews told me.
"When can I go home? When can I surf and longboard?" I asked him.
"You'll be able to go home in probably 2 days. Surfing and longboarding... it'll probably be a few weeks... just for your knee it'll be 3 weeks probably...but you'll have to wear a little brace to keep your knee in place... nothing stiff though. You're ankle will be at minimum 2 weeks. Well I gotta go. If you need anything, Cody you know how to contact me."
"Cody... 3 weeks minimum... No surfing... No longboarding... what am I going to do?"
"You'll be able to hang out with me! I'm not surfing or anything until you can! How about that, love?" he told me.
"But you barely are home...so you should surf!" I said to him.
"Ahh who cares! I will do it for you! When we go home, instead of getting up early to go surf, I'll come over and we can sing and write music together!" I smiled.
He made me happy. He was so sweet and caring.
Three days later I came home and it was night.
I was home with my Auntie Christina and Uncle Lawrence who just came home from England) I was lying in bed when I got a text from Cody
"Hey A! Can I come over? I have dinner and some surprises, mate! X"
"Of course Codes! When will you be over?"
Suddenly I heard my window open, "Now" Cody told me. I smiled and he came over and kissed my neck.
"Let me go get your surprises" he said.
