Flashback To My Past

I woke up and I was in a hospital bed and I had this achy feeling and I kept on hearing beeps.

I opened my eyes and I had an IV in my arm and my right ankle, knee, and wrist were in a brace.

I looked around and there were little balloons and there was a guitar and book in the corner...

I kept looking and there was Cody on his guitar and holding a book in his hand writing a song... I smiled and sat up.

Cody saw me move and put his music down and came and sat on the bed with me. "Good morning Allison"

I teared up... "Morning Codes" I told him.

"Why are you teary, angel?"

"You called me Allison"

I told him.

"Is that okay? Why does it upset you?"

"Cody, I haven't told anyone this. When I moved to the Gold Coast when I was six, I was upset. My mum, daddy, and big brother died in a car crash in Dubbo, Australia, where I lived before I moved here. My aunt and uncle (who you know as my mum and dad) adopted me... and when I was little my big brother, whose name was Christopher, always called me Allison... he was my best friend... when he died... I died a little bit... It was awful... My mum's name was Jane Alicia and my daddy's name was Alexander Jake... but he was called AJ... so that is where I got my name. My brother was Christopher Luke... he was wonderful... My "mum and dad" are my aunt and uncle..." I told him...

I started crying. I couldn't help it... Cody came from the bottom of my bed to the top and gave me a huge hug.

"A, I promise I'll never call you that again... I am so sorry... But I love you and I am here for you... Okay?"

"Okay Codes. I love you too! What were you writing while I was asleep?"

"It's called Love. Here let me sing it to you." He grabbed his guitar and started singing "The thing about love, love, love, it'll make it through some crazy things!" I couldn't help but smile.

Cody made me happy... Just like Christopher... maybe that is why I love Cody so much... he is like Christopher...
