Chapter VIII
I hold Kol and Nathan's arms tightly as we walk closer and closer to my dad. I glare at him as I push down my fears of seeing him. I breathe out heavily and Kol squeezes my arm, giving me a smile. I give him a small smile and we stop in front of my dad. I breathe in heavily.
"Hello dad." I mutter, holding tightly to Kol as Nathan lets me go.
"Melody, it is so good to see you." He smiles brightly at me and I narrow my eyes at him, moving to stand behind Kol.
"She wants an explanation." Nathan tells him and my dad looks at him, then back at us. He nods, gesturing to a table. We slowly sit down across from him and Nathan.
"Tell me everything." I say and Kol grabs my hand, letting me use it as a stress ball type of thing. I squeeze as my dad goes to talk.
"I never meant to leave you Melody. Your mother was my mate, I loved her and you both. But as king I couldn't leave my kingdom. Once I heard you turned, I also heard the rogues had attacked our castle. I went there, thinking I would come back soon but then I found out that the rogue king had a witch cast a spell on your mother. If she saw me again, she would die. I couldn't come back without hurting her and you. So I watched from afar as you grew beautifully. I saw you kill your bullies and I felt proud every time your jaw clenched around their necks. I never meant to leave you." He whispers and I feel tears sprout in my eyes. I dig my head into Kol's neck. He left me to save my mom.
"I forgive you. I am going to bed." I mutter, letting go of Kol's hand and getting up. I slowly walk to the other side, giving Nathan a hug.
"Goodnight." Nathan whispers and I look at my dad, shaking my head.
"I can't." I tell him and he nods, sadly. I give Kol a smile as he stands up.
"I am going to with her Nathan. Make sure to get her training clothes ready." He says and walks over to me. We walk towards the steps, going up them. We walk towards my room and he stops in front of it.
"Thank you for tonight. You helped me a lot." I smile at him and he smiles back before kissing my cheek.
"Goodnight Melody." He mutters by my ear and I shiver. He smirks, going into his room. I walk into my room, closing the door behind me. I slide down it with a huge smile. I touch my cheek happily. I shake my head and get up slowly. I take off my heels and throw them into the closet. I slide out of my dress and my bra, getting into my pajamas. I walk over to my mirror, cleaning my makeup off quickly. I walk towards my bed, jumping onto it. A boom sounds from outside my door, I glare at it. I sit up slowly and quietly, grabbing my katana from my night stand. I sneak towards the door before opening it, raising the katana to strike. I stop as I am face-to face with a man I don't know.
"Who are you?" I glare, keeping my katana at my side ready to strike if needed.
"You're worst nightmare." He smirks and gestures. I hear people behind and I turn around quickly. I put up my katana striking the one on the right. I grab my second katana and move towards the second one. I gasp as a hand finds itself over my mouth. I go to scream as I try to escape but the two other guys catch my katanas. They pull it out of my grips, I growl behind the hand.
"It's alright darling, just relax." The man whispers in my ear. I struggle more as they close the door, locking it. I scream loudly behind his hand as they drop me onto a chair. I struggle to get free as they continue to tie me up. His hand leaves my mouth and I go to scream but duct tape was put over my mouth. I glare at the man, wishing I could just kill him like Luna killed Malina.
"I know right." Luna mutters in my head. I growl at the men, they stare at me like I was annoying. The leader nods to the other two. They leave the room, but not before giving me a glare.
"So you found your father. So sweet, wonder if he finally attack after what I do to you." He smirks, looking at all of me and I move my legs, trying to cover up. I try to move away, but his hand stops me. His hand is touching my privates and I glare at him. I struggle against the ties. He laughs loudly as I begin to scream. His hand moves to my ties and unties me. I go to attack him but he was a lot faster than me. He pushes me on the bed and ties my hands to the bedpost along with my feet. I feel tears begin to brim my eyes, finally knowing what might happen.
"Kol." I try to scream out but the duct tape doesn't do anything. The man rips off my clothes and I begin to cry louder. He unzips his pants and pulls them down.
"Now he will have no choice but to give me the throne once you have my baby." He laughs and I cry loudly.
