Chapter 23

7th period

We were in class and our math teacher wanted us to do group work and he wanted me to tutor Hayes and help him with the work.

"Looks like we're together, he said.

I just ignored him and kept on working on the math.

"Bella can you help me with this problem?"

I ignored him again and got up and pretended to sharpen my pencil.

"I need help with this."

I rolled my eyes and sat back down next to him.

"Do you hear me?".

He looked into my eyes and I turned around he other way.

"What's your problem?, he asked.

"You".

"What did I do?"

"I don't know? Ask Hannah.

"Hold on, what are you talking about"?

"I don't wanna talk about this".

"We need too".

"What's the point?, you're perfectly happy with Hannah".

"Where is this coming from?.

"Why did you kiss me if you like Hannah"?

"I kissed you because I still have feelings for you and I didn't know how to tell you".

"You could have just told me because now I'm heartbroken that you kissed me and that you still like her".

"I like you and that's not gonna change".

"I like you too but I can't trust that you don't like Hannah or some other girl.

"Are you saying that you don't trust me".

"I don't know".

"How would you feel if I kissed you right now?"

"Don't kiss me, I don't need your pity and I don't want people to think that you're a cheater.

He came close to my face and he looked like he really wanted to kiss me but I pushed him back because I don't want any drama to start.

"Your an amazing girl and I don't want you to feel hurt".

"But I am because you kiss other girls and you act like you're on the show the bachelor where you get to kiss other girls and then decide who you want to be with. I'm not playing your game and I don't wanna be apart of it.

The bell rings

He was still talking to me as we walked out of class.

"This isn't a game, it's reality".

"In reality your girlfriend is over there waiting for you".

"She can wait and besides your the one I want to talk to".

"What do you want from me?"

"I want you".

"No you don't, you want the way I look, the way I kiss, the way you look at me. You don't want me, you want what's outside, not inside and what's inside is more important than what I look like.

After I said that he walked up to Hannah and they walked off.

I knew he didn't care what I thought, he only cares about what I look like.

The next day

I opened my locker and a note flew out and it said meet me tonight at my house. - from you know who. I looked at it and I held on to it.

As soon as I walked down the hall I saw Shelby, Daniel , Josh , and Ariana , they all came up to me.

"What happened yesterday? Shelby asked.

"Nothing I was just sick".

"Oh did you hear that Hannah and Hayes broke up last night?, Ariana asked.

"Oh that sucks".

"Yeah he said something about another girl he's liked for about a year, Josh said.

"Oh"

"How are you and Brad, Ariana asked.

"I have to tell you that Brad and I broke up".

"Oh he dumped you Daniel asked

"No I dumped him".

"Oh well but what's that in your hand Ariana asked.

She grabbed it and looked

"Who's the guy?"

"His name is Justin I said.

"Oh, Daniel said.

I ran to class and sat down.
