The branches snake around my body forming a cacoon around me. Its pitch black. Sound waves are blocked from entering my ears. All I can hear is my heart hammering against my ribs.
A few minutes pass. Nothing happens. I start to relax a bit. Then out of nowhere exrutiating pain erups from my back. I scream.
I feel something sliding out of my back. And it hurts like needles being fored into my skin one by one.
This pain goes on for two minutes or so. Im about to give up. Im about to let death take me in its arms. Then it stops.
Light starts to flood into my vision. I fall to the ground and wince. I look around at the trees. The faces are fading. I hear someone whisper in my ear.
"You have served your punishment. You entered the willows territory now you have to pay. You will be a freak. Nothing more."
Then the faces are gone. They melt into the wood like they were never there. A freak. That's what the willows said.
