Kaneki's POV
"Now.. How did you and Jack-kun really meet each other..?" I asked.
"Well.." (Y/n) tailed off, putting her finger on her chin. "I was walking back to my house when a ghoul pinned me onto a alley. Being my old self, I accepted ghouls as any normal human. But this ghoul hated me for think that. Her kagune was out and was going to struck me. She was killed by Jack-kun as came in and tried to kill me instead. But he missing.. By a huge difference."
"What do you mean by that? Jack-kun saved you? Why would a ghoul like himself save you? And why would he miss if he was going to kill you?" I asked.
"I was surprised myself, Kaneki. I mean, a ghoul not hitting a human with their kagune? That's what I thought too. Anyways, he told me that he couldn't kill me due to me understanding the hunger for a ghoul. So, once we became friends-"
"You two became friends?"
"Yes, now if you want me to finished this on time, I can actually continue what I planned on doing."
I looked down, scratching the back of my head. "So-sorry, (Y/n)-chan. Ple-please continue." I stuttered out.
I heard (Y/n) sigh and she rested her head onto my shoulder. I immediately got stiff and looked at her, to see her blushing as much as I am.
"As the both of us became friends, I started to develop feelings towards him. Soon enough, I was attacked again. But with a group of ghouls. Jack was nowhere around me, so I was felt alone to fight them off. It was a good thing that Jack taught me how to fight. But, that training did nothing good for me."
"You got bitten?" I asked. (Y/n) shook her head.
"No. I almost gotten molested by them. Somehow, Jack found me and saved me again from ghouls. I don't know how, but, Jack always had found a way to save me. That's when we decided that we'd live together for my protection."
I stared to frown from what she told me. Moving my arms around her shoulder, I pulled her closer to me, despite the fact that I'm a blushing mess.
"Kan-Kaneki-kun.." (Y/n) stuttered out. I felt her arms go around my back as she moved her head onto my neck. Her cheeks were heat, telling me that she was blushing.
"(Y/n)-chan.." I muttered under my breathe. My grip on her tighten slightly, as her head moved down.
"A year later under his protection, we ended up dating for two years. He'd go out, hunting for any ghouls that tried or will get me, while I stayed at our apartment, practicing to defend myself. Then, one day, the two of us went out of my birthday. We were out all day, having fun, looking at the shows the city had put up. But, as we were walking.."
(Y/n) pulled away from me and took off her sweater then her shirt. I immediately started to become a blushing mess.
"(Y-Y-Y/n)-chan! What are you-"
"Just look, will you? You've only seen part of my scars.." (Y/n) cut me off. I looked at her, only to make my eyes wide as I see multiple scars.
There was two huge scars on both shoulders, another scar on stomach, two on her arms, one on both sides. But, that wasn't even the start of it. As she turned her back towards me, more scars were shown.
"I was hit multiple times with his kagune and bitten twice. He changed drastically. He had my scent. I had no way in hiding nor defeating him. He was one of the top ghoul wanted, aside from Rize. Jack was known as the Snake Reaper." (Y/n) said, putting her shirt and sweater back on.
