By the following day, Stevie had all of the furniture that Kristen had used for show, taken out by her movers. She didn't want Kristen's touch  to be in there longer than had been, already feeling more secure with the place empty again. The walls and the canopy bed were the only things that Stevie kept, knowing that since the walls were just painted, that it would be rude to paint over them again; plus she wasn't against the colors anyway - most were retro enough to fit her style!

Karen drove Stevie in to the city, taking her to various shops to pick out new furniture. It ended up looking like a hippie den, purely, 100% taken back to the 1960s.
The Living room now had a black pleather sectional sofa with white pillows, a black shag rug underneath a triangular coffee table, two black circular accent chairs, with a few decorations. Those included a large star shaped mirror, black curtains with white circular shapes, a large white swag light, and a Buddha owl statue.
In the Family room, Stevie picked out two shell chairs that were white but had orange interior, an orange couch with white flower print, an orange shag rug, white curtains, a flat screen TV with surround sound, and a record/CD player. She felt the Family room would be for Entertainment purposes.
Her kitchen had beautiful  teal curtains for the sliding glass door the led to the back porch, a white table with a set of teal booths instead of chairs, a lovely teal chandelier that hung above the table, and various vintage decor about the walls.
Having the photographs framed that Lindsey had used to make a collage in one of the extra bedrooms, Stevie displayed them in a zig zag pattern across the walls. She kept the mattress on the floor with the black silk sheets and bought adorable heart shaped decorative pillows. There was this hanging shell chair that she had to have, hanging that in one of the corners and then placing a beautiful black desk with a black oblong desk chair to do some of her journaling. There was even an art easel that she felt would fit, turning that room in to almost a spot for meditation with the things she loved to do the most. Her assortment of candles and incense would be stored in the closet. Oh, she also couldn't forget the long black lace curtains for the window! They were quite sexy in her opinion, especially  with that Tiffany lamp sitting on the desk he'd gifted her!
When it came to the master, Stevie wanted to keep that very feminine, as the canopy bed was a dark purple. She was able to find this beautiful bedroom set that included a vanity, dresser, and two nightstands; they were a light pink color. The windows were covered in sheer purple curtains where she hung a few crystals from the middle of the curtain bar, that window brought in a great deal of sunlight!
Not forgetting her dog, Sulamith, was given one of the extra bedrooms for herself, Stevie wanting to store all her new toys and accessories. That dog was so spoiled and she knew that Lindsey would end up making fun of her but she didn't care, that dog was the closet to a child she's ever experienced!
Last but not least, the guest room was all white with frilly lace curtains, a Full sized bed that had white silk sheets and comforter. There was a small flat screen TV, two white nightstands with a white dresser, a zebra patterned rug, and a lovely white chandelier hanging from the middle of the ceiling. It was the room where most likely Karen would be staying, though Stevie wanted to make sure it was only  her and Lindsey in the house most of the time.

After a week of owning the home and bringing over more décor,  which included her dream catchers for the back porch, more candle holders and candelabras, statues and lamps, silverware, a few cups and plates...she was ready to show it to Lindsey, though he had to bring his wife and that was really the last person he wanted to bring. It was just that she had questioned the sale by Stevie and wanted to know what she'd redecorate it like, just having the need to be nosey, really not understanding why a woman worth millions would want a home in a regular middle class neighborhood.

While Stevie was hanging a few things up on the walls of the master, Karen was putting together a  meal for them and the Buckingham's, knowing that their stay would end in dinner. There was also a nice bottle of wine and mini éclairs for dessert. There wasn't a thing that Stevie would leave out, being the perfect little hostess.
