The fascination that William had with Stevie began to scare him, the image he kept having of his own Godmother in his head, not able to think about anything else. He'd daydream about it, of the day him and his father walked through that front door and saw her displayed in such a provocative way, it being the first time he'd seen a woman in barely anything  in reality. All he's had were photos, pictures from magazines or on the internet of pornography, but there was something different about seeing it in real life. There was never a time that he found a woman much older than him to be attractive but this was a serious crush, finding himself driving by her house after school, thinking up excuses to see her, finally finding a good one as he had found a crescent moon sun catcher while out one day. There was a poem that he created about his admiration for her, knowing that things like this often won the ladies over with his father, just that Will was attempting to woo the wrong person.

Parking in Stevie's driveway, Will went over in his head what he was going to say to her, finally getting the guts to knock on the front door as he waited nervously.

Karen answered and let him in, going to tell her boss who was there to visit, Stevie walking in to the Family room in appropriate clothing this time, wrapping her arms around her Godson.

"Hey, Will! It's wonderful to see you, sweetheart, is that for me?" placing her hands on to her face as he brought the package out from behind his back, nodding. "Oh, you little angel! Thank you!" giving him a kiss on his cheek while she sat down on the sectional and began to open it, gasping at the beautiful colored sun catcher as she held it up in front of her, touched by his generosity. "William, this is gorgeous! Oh, babydoll, thank you so much!" smiling and squeezing his hand, taking out the little envelope and reading his poem. That was when her smile faded.

Your face is like a flower

Dancing and singing in the wind

Rare and overall forbidden

I cast my sun on to you

Reflecting on your beauty

Giving all my heat from within

Stevie couldn't move, just staring at the paper, feeling herself start to shake, then folding it up as she turned to him.

"Is it bad?" Will asked, slightly wincing, knowing she was the Queen of poetry. He wanted to impress her but she didn't look impressed.

"Uh, no, no it's not bad...You wrote it?" not able to look at him as she began to pack everything in to the bag he'd wrapped it in.

"I did, at school today, in English class."

That brought her heart rate down, "Oh, so it's a project? You wanted me to look at it for you?"

"Um, no, I wrote it about you. It's not a project, a gift."

"Oh..." nervous again, "...how...sweet."

"So, what do you think?"

"Think...?"

"Yeah, about the poem, us."

"Can I ask what made you create something like this?"

"Well, you,"  looking at her disappointed, feeling as if she wasn't getting it at all.

"Tell me, what were you trying to say when you created it?"

"That I think you're pretty...and I want a girlfriend like you."

"That's very kind of you," unsure of how she should approach this. She wasn't his parent afterall but still a guardian.

"But what do you think?"
