Staring at the letter, he didn't know what to do, how could Kristen do this to him? Custody of all three children, why? What was her reasoning?  There was no reasoning! He was not a bad father. A bad husband, maybe, but never father! Those children worshipped the ground he walked on, thought he was as much of a God as his fans, so what would be the reasoning for this?

Lindsey wanted to rip the letter to shreds and throw it in the fire but he had to show it to his lawyer, which they seemed to have gotten through the worst part of the divorce, so why would Kristen pile this on him at the last minute?

Stevie was in her gym at the North end of the house with her personal trainer, going over some new routine as Lindsey busted through the door, her trainer gesturing towards him while Stevie was talking.

"Baby, I'm not done yet," claimed Stevie as she turned.

"I need to talk to you," desperation in his voice, on the verge of tears. "Baby, please," holding up the papers.

"I'm sorry," placing her hand on her trainer's shoulder, "...I'll be right back," then heading towards Lindsey as she took him outside the door. "What's going on, Linds?"

He handed her the papers as Stevie blinked, "Honey, you know that I can't read that with out my glasses!"

Grumbling, Lindsey began to read it, going over the custody battle that Kristen started, Lindsey now in tears as he placed one hand over his eyes. Stevie took him in to her arms, rubbing his back then taking his hand from his face, kissing him on the corner of his mouth. "How could she do this?" cried Lindsey.

Rubbing his cheeks with her thumbs, she shook her head, "I don't know, baby, I just don't know..." placing their foreheads together.

"We had agreed on joint custody, why?" asking Stevie as if she had all the answers, this time not having one.

"Linds, you have got to listen to me...this doesn't mean that she will win or that it will even happen, okay?"

"Steph, it's right here on paper!" holding it up in the air.

"I know, Lindsey, I believe you! We will talk to your lawyer and we will get it all straightened out, okay? Okay?"  trying to calm him down, suddenly flirtatious as she bit her lip. "So, why don't you," wrapping her arms around his neck, "...light the fire in the bedroom..." kissing his lips, "...get yourself all naked for me," running her finger along his jaw, "...and I will take a shower, then meet you in about an hour, okay? I'm almost done here with Mandy, I promise," giving him another kiss, this time touching tongues.

Feeling a rush of adrenaline, Lindsey pushed her against the wall, breathing heavily as he felt up her hips, "But you know how I like it when you sweat..."

"Mmmm..." playfully biting at his lips, "...naughty, but this is the wrong type of sweat."

"Oh, no," cupping her between her legs, "...it still sweats here," rubbing her slowly.

"That is so disgusting," slapping him lightly on the shoulder, "...get out of here."

He laughed, nuzzling his face in her neck then giving it a kiss, "You hurry for me now," pushing his hips against hers.

"Oh, believe me, I will," giving his butt a slap as she walked back in to the gym.

Lindsey loved her so much, not sure what he would ever do with out her.

Making his way in to the bedroom like she asked, he once again looked over the papers, wondering if maybe he could get an answer out of Kristen if he called.
