Terras Kingdoms

~*~LILY POV:~*~

"Hey girls, are you ready to leave?" Hidie yells up the stairs where Skyler and I are packing. 

"Coming!" Skyler and I yell back in unison. I take one last look at my room, grab my suitcase, and walk down the stairs with Skyler. I'm very nervous about meeting my parents, well, my real parents. Taylor and Victoria were a little pissed that we were leaving. And I feel really bad about lying to everyone about where we're going....

"Lil, don't tell me you're thinking about backing out of all this....not after all that's happened..." I sigh, but shake my head anyways. 

"Skyler, I've learned over the years that you take the tearm YOLO very seriously, and you've kind of managed to rub off on me...so no. I'm not going to back out." Skyler laughs and we make it downstairs just in time to see a big bus appear in the front. I can see Josh in the drivers seat. 

"Lily! How come you're leaving?!" Sarah cries once we get downstairs. Ethan and John go to cling onto Skyler while Hidie lets me hold Baby JuJu and hug Sarah. 

"We won't be gone for long sweetie," I say, not really believing my own words. If Josh and Leo are right about people being after us, then I have no idea how long we could be. I give Baby JuJu a kiss on the head, which has a couple of brown curls sprouting from it, give Sarah a big bear hug, high-five Ethan and John, and hug Hidie. 

"You two take care. And say hello to your Uncle for me!" Immense guilt washes over me as Hidie says those words, but I just nod happily anyways. The sad thing is that our adoptive Mom and Dad aren't even here to say goodbye to us. They're too busy. 

"Let's go, Josh and Leo are waiting for us," Skyler whispers to me and I wave to everyone one last time before lugging all of my stuff to the bus waiting outside. It's a small bus-almost the size of a mini van-and is a deep purple color. Leo comes out in this taxi driver outfit, helping us put our luggage in the back and not saying anything. I guess he has to be all formal while Hidie is still watching. 

He opens the back door to the van and Skyler and I step in. She and I both gasp. It looks like no car I've ever seen before! It has weird buttons everywhere, canopys hanging from the ceiling, multiple beds, and when I sit down on one of the many seats, a glass of water appears along with a pear. 

"Okay, that's creepy!" I say, taking the pear and the water from the weird platform that was raised in front of me. "I really love pears..." Leo laughs at this, emerging from what must be the bathroom with the weirdest outfit. It looks almost like a wet suit, but it's green and high tech looking. On it is a belt with lots of weapons, ranging from a regular hand gun to some things I've never seen before. Josh enters wearing the same thing. 

"The ship is programmed to satisfy your need. So you must have wanted a pear," Leo explains as he and Josh go to sit down. Skyler suddenly has a panicked look on her face. 

"Okay, if you're both right there...who the hell is driving?!" Skyler screeches, looking out the window. I squeal slightly, grabbing onto the seat while Josh and Leo just laugh. 

"Relax, you two! The car is programmed to go on a specific route. Nothing's going to go wrong!" Leo assures us and I let out a breath. 

"So where are we going exactly?" I ask, taking a bite of my pear. Skyler's looking intently out the window, watching the scene go by. She looks rather sad, and Josh seems to notice too, but Leo seems oblivious. 

"Well since you two don't really want to split up, we'll be going to each of your kingdoms together. Skyler's is first." He says and Skyler perks up a little. Josh smiles as he notices her slight smile and I raise my eyebrows at him. He doesn't meet my eyes.
