Poisonous Prophecies

~LILY POV:~

The whole day I had been avoiding training while Skyler embraced it. I never liked the idea of hurting people or using a weapon. Skyler did, though, and I can't help but think the sporty side of her helps with that. Before the whole Terras thing, I had been a volleyball player, but that was pretty much it. 

"Don't feel like training today?" I jump as I hear Leo's voice from my doorway. I silently shake my head. After the vision I had earlier I've been really freaked out. The vision seemed so real...

But it wasn't.

I sigh as I hear Leo in my head. I playfully punch him in the shoulder. 

"You have got to stop reading my thoughts. It's an invasion of privacy!" He just laughs and examines my face for a moment. 

"Does your cheek hurt? It's swelling up." He touches it lightly and I wince. He suddenly looks mad."I should've been there...we shouldn't have left you guys alone." He looks down, ashamed. I touch his cheek softly. 

"Hey, it's not your fault. Skyler and I were stupid enough to come out of the car and look for you. But you came and saved me in the end. And I'm all right now!" I gesture to myself and grimace a little. I have more bruises than skin and there's that gigantic gash on my cheek. Leo puts his hand over my hand and frowns a little. 

"But you're not...I promise I won't let anything hurt you again. I'll protect you with my life, Lil." Tears brim in my eyes as he says those words. "Why are you crying?" He looks concerned again. 

"That's just the nicest thing any boy has ever said to me." Leo gives me a dazzling smile and wipes away one of the stray tears that is running down my cheek. "Thanks, Leo. For everything." He smiles, then his eyes fall back on my cheek. 

"Are you sure you're cheek's okay? Do you need ice or anything?" I suddenly become aware of Skyler and Josh standing in the doorway. 

"Leo, if you're so concerened about her cheek why don't you just kiss it better?" My face goes red and so does Leo's while Josh starts laughing like crazy and smirks at me. 

"SKY, YOU SUCK!" I screech, running through the halls and chasing after her. Then Skyler suddely stops and I do too. A vision comes again and I fall to the ground, clutching my head. I feel Skyler right next to me and she's whimpering in pain. 

The castle is made out of what looks to be like black sand as it rests on the mountain. Black vines are wrapped around it and the sky overhead is a gloomy gray. Terras people are there, and they look like normal Terras. A man with sparkling blue eyes stands in front of the castle, and he seems to be chanting some kind of spell. He raises above him a strange stone and a beam of black shadows shoots towards the clouds, going higher and higher until there's a sudden boom. Then the black shadows come down from the sky and go straight into the ground. The man's face isn't visible until he looks back up, his eyes so black they look like empty sockets on his face. He grins evilly, showing his razor sharp teeth as big, black creatures start rising up from under the ground. All of them have red eyes, deadly sharp fangs, and gather around the one man. 

"We will find them! We will kill them! No princess is a match for my army!" His voice is raspy and low as he screeches this to the beasts. It then seems that he looks straight at me. Then everything is black. 

"Lil! Lily can you hear me?!" I know I'm shaking uncontrollably, but I can't help it. It takes all my strength to suck in a breath and open my eyes. Leo pulls me into his arms and I can see that Mom, Dad, Skyler, Josh, Owen, and Leo are all here. Skyler looks just as shaken as I do. 

"What did you see, darling?" Mom asks, crouching down to my level. Leo recoils from the hug but keeps his hand planted firmly on my waist. I lean into his arms and bury my face in his shoulder for a moment, clenching my whole body together. Then, I speak.
