Many Questions Unanswered

Skyler POV:

Taylor and I are running through the forest, when all of a sudden, I see a flash of bright red in a tree and I know that Lily is hiding out with Victoria. I put an arm out to stop Taylor, and put a finger to my lips and point to the tree. She nods, and we slowly make our way behind the trees, so we're out of their line of sight. My heart is beating so fast, and I can feel an adrenaline rush coming. I can only imagine what Katniss felt when she was in the real hunger games. She had to worry about being killed all the time, the worst we have to worry about is silly string in our cool braids. We continue to silently walk towards their tree, and I pass a camera that Lily must have placed. I stop, go up to the camera, and I wink and do a peace sign, then I stick my tongue out at it. Taylor barley suppresses a giggle. We finally get to the tree where they're hiding, and I motion for Taylor to stay put. She nods, and points up the tree and does a climbing motion. I smile, and nod. 

"We'll come from a bit further away, and act surprised. Go around the back and climb up and nail them, I'll draw Lily out of the tree and you spray Victoria in the tree. Got it?" I say, my voice a barely audible whisper. She nods and smirks. I can feel my heart pounding as we back away from the tree, and go to the front of it. Then, we break into a run, and I get sprayed a little and I hear Lily yell something to Victoria. I sprint away from the tree, and I hear the sound of some dried leaves, and I know that Lily has jumped down. I sprint faster, and I hope that Taylor has made it up the tree. I've always been the slightest bit faster than Lily, so I have a bit of an advantage. I slow slightly and let her catch up to me, and I spray my silly string over my shoulder. I hear her spitting, and I know that I nailed her in the mouth.  I can't help but laugh as I speed up again. I feel some silly string on my back. I make a sharp turn and run towards the beach. As I am running, I get a glimpse of Taylor chasing Victoria in the same direction. Tay knows me so well! As I smell the salt water, I run a little faster, knowing that I'll get a whole new rush when I get there. I spray some more silly string over my shoulder. This is so fun! I see the ocean, and I keep running. My feet hit sand, and I get a whole new rush. I look behind me, and to my surprise, I don't see Lily. I stop, and I look around. No sign of anyone, not even Taylor. That's weird. I can't help but smile, and I say sarcastically to myself, "Those bitches better not be ganging up on me, or hell's gonna break loose." I walk towards the ocean, still confused. I sit on the beach, and look out to sea. God, I love this place. I look down the beach, and I see a figure with dark hair. Its not one of my girls, so who could it be? It looks like a guy. He's not far, maybe twenty or so feet. How could he have gotten in? This is a private beach. Suddenly, he looks in my direction. Even from here, I can see his blue eyes. They are the color of the sea in front of me. I see them widen, and he runs and dives to the waves. He goes under, and pops up again, still looking at me. Then he looks out to sea again, and goes under the water. I wait, and wait, and about ten minutes later, he pops up again. How is that possible? He is still looking out to sea, and all of a sudden, a pod of dolphins pops out of the water. They jump, flip, and make their little dolphin noises. The guy smiles at me, then goes under, this time for good. Wait. For good? Something's definately fishy (yes, definately pun intended). I'm going to find out what it is. I get up, and go back to the forest, just in time to see Taylor, Victoria, and Lily run out and onto the beach. 

"Sky!" they yell. 

"Yep! right here. Where did you guys go?" I ask.

"We were running, and then all of a sudden we couldnt find you. You started running really fast when you got to the beach. I should've known this is where you'd be," Lily says, smiling. 

"Yeah, I was here. I saw dolphins! They were so cool!" I say. 

"Nice. lets go back to the house. I'm hungry," Victoria says.
