Chapter-3

- Hagrids pov -
Seeing Y/n reminded me a lot of her mother, her h/c and smile was just like hers but her attitude and e/c eyes where her fathers they would have been glade to raise such a beautiful young lady. Such a shame they fought for the wrong side in the war and gotten themselves killed. Both their family's were pure bloods but once they found out that they were death eaters both family's cut them out wanting nothing to with them or their daughter. Seeing no one wanted the girl Dumbledore ask me to send the girl to the muggle world and leave her at a church where she would find help. Such a shame I thought the Y/l/n had so much love for one another their love was stronger than any love potion quite a shame they died leaving something so helpless behind.
"Ah" I said seeing the train a couple feet away can't wait to see what this year brings.
-Y/n pov-
As the train came to a stop we all grabbed our bags and began getting off the train everyone was talking about the same guy from the other day Harry Potter but this time they were talking about how he fainted at the sight of a dementor I read about those on the train from someone else's book. Putting my head back into focus one of the boys from the compartment was helping me & Kasy find our way to the chariots they seated around 6 people me and Kasy took a seat Alex was the boy's name he went to go sit with his friends another boy came along and sat with us the ride was quick I was so happy once I finally saw the school
"Oh my" was all I said the boy turned around and chuckled
"Is there something funny" I said, he didn't reply then I heard Kasy laugh a little next to me. We got off the chariot and had to go with all the other first years and transfers we all had to follow an old bat professor McGonagall she was talking about how we had to wait I could care less I was so into the school this place has painting that move and don't even get me started on how beautiful the place was, once the door opened everyone turned to see the students walking in I kept my head healed high will Kasy lowered hers down professor McGonagall started reading off names
"Y/N Y/L/N" great I was first I thought to myself while I walked up and sat down on a little stool they had there
"Ah Y/L/N" the hat said as it was placed on my head I didn't think anything when he said my last name I mean why wouldn't it professor McGonagall Had just said it out loud
"My my I expected you two years ago but I guess now will do, well let's see were to put you. A slytherin like your father or a ravenclaw like your mother" WHAT?? was all I could think my smile had dropped down from my face but the hat kept talking
"Smart and clever just like your mother but cunning & fearless just like your father... Hmmm.... I got it RAVENCLAW!!!!! History is to repeat its self with you" A table started clapping I took it as I was supposed to sit there time passed and people had introduced them self to me a girl named Loren and a boy named Matthew a couple other people to but I really wasn't in the mood to learn names or talk I was still thinking about what the hat had said I was lost in thought until I felt someone sit next to me it was Kasy I greeted her with a hug and smile then went back to what I was thinking I couldn't stop thinking that hat knew my parents people that haven't left my mind ever since I was little, as far back as my memory could go, I aways had them on my mind. A tap on my shoulder bought me back to people talking and laughing I looked at Kasy because she was the one who taped me on my shoulder
"Aren't you hungry, your missing out on great food" she said
"Yeah!" I said faking a better mood

Everyone finally finished eating good I really just wanted to go to bed some people began to show us around they were called the prefects they showed us to the ravenclaw tower where they said we would spend most of our time. As we got up to a bronze knocker in a shape of a raven it said a riddle
"What asks but never answers"
"A question" I said as it barley finished saying the riddle the door opened and we all began to walk in it just when I thought this place couldn't get better the common room was beautiful.
"Thats how you will open the door you will answer a riddle but if you get it wrong you must wait for another person to come along" all the students shook there heads
"Now this is the Ravenclaw commons room" wow it has a huge blue carpet and a round white marble floor in the middle but as you look around you see a statue of Rowena Ravenclaw the founder of Ravenclaw tower and the ceiling was enchanted to look like the night sky, lot of books, places to sit work on assignments and a really big windows that seem to look out in the most beautiful places of the school.
"Fascinating isn't it?" A boy behind me said before I could say anything one of the prefects spoke
"On this side right through this door is the girls dorm rooms and on that side will be the boys" I smiled and began walking to the dorms I found Loren and Kasy in one dorm my stuff was already there. Then a first year came in, her name was Mel we all welcomed her in she was shy yet again everyone was. There was only 4 beds in one dorm, we each got our own space to put our clothes and a desk to work at, a little fire place in the middle to keep warm. As it became more night they all got tired and began to sleep.
