Chapter 28

-Y/n pov-
So I had to do this project for school that had to do with some of my baby pictures so I told my mom about it & she told me about how there was a fire & I couldn't remember because I was to young I didn't buy that story & told her what really happened & she got mad then I got mad because she wasn't telling me the truth. So I went on a walk because I didn't feel like being in that house they didn't seem to mind I went to this park that was close to my home a lot of kids where playing but then one girl my age came & sat down next to me
"Y/n?" She said
"Do I know you?" I said to her
"Yeah it's me star... Come on don't pretended like you don't know me" she said
"I'm sorry I just can't remember" I said
"Did you hit your head?" She asked
"I don't think so" I said to her
"Come on you have to remember me when we were little we used to-" I cut he off
"You knew me when I was little? Wait were our parents friends?" I asked her
"We didn't need parent when we had each other, what are talking about?" She said to me looking confused
"What are taking about?" I said standing up
"Wow your more confused then ever aren't you?" She said I looked down she grabbed my arm & said
"Woah okay-okay wait" she said as she began looking through her backpack when she took out a light stack of pictures & handed them to me
"See look this one was on our 13th birthday" she said point at one oh my that was me but why don't I have a memory about this but I remember doing something else on my 13th birthday
"Oh then there's this one when we where around 7 that's when we started running from the homes they put us in" she said smiling it hurt me because she knew me but I didn't know her
"I'm sorry homes?" I said looking at her
"Yeah our parents didn't want us so ever since we were baby's we had to live in other people homes until you came up with the idea to make this park our home" she said putting her arm around my shoulder
"But by the looked of it you found a new home?" She said looking at touching my clothes
"Say star if you know me what something we would do?" I said to her
"Well I don't know last time we did something we painted our hair" she said smiling & playing with her hair
"But look how it left us both with dead black dull hair" she said now playing with mine
"Let's do it" I said to her
"I haven't got any money"she said still with a smile looking at me like I was insane
"I do!, come on!"I said dragging her by her arm
"No wait Y/n I don't want to get you in trouble" she said looking down
"Come on its my idea" I said grabbing her she went back to coloring it back to her old hair color or well that's what she said I wanted something crazy to get back at my mother for lying to me. I wanted blue but it was to dark for my black so I went with green (picture up there ^^^^)
Once I got home my mother had punished me for disobeying her but then I asked her about the pictures star had shown me she didn't say anything just told me to go to my room. My heart it was doing that weird thing again, it felt good not happiness just good.
-Draco's pov-
This year has been boring without Y/n sure I was a Slytherin prefect but what good was all this power with no one to share it with. Umbridge called me & all of my friends to her office I was hoping it wasn't about us messing with some of the first years to my
Surprise it wasn't she wanted my friends and I to make sure everyone was following the rules & also to keep an eye on Potter & his friends she called us the Inquisitorial squad I felt pretty good about myself because that meant I must be doing something right, right?. Oh how I missed her but I know she'll come back & we'll be happy together again.
-Y/n pov-
I went back to the park a lot of times looking for star but she was never there.

One day my friend & her boyfriend came to the park she noticed me sitting on a swing with my book & started coming over
"Y/n!" She said
"Hello" I said closing my book
"Why are you reading?" Her boyfriend asked
"Because it's a good book" I said
"Your such a nerd" my friend said I just smiled back at her
"Well I'll leave you two to talk" my friends boyfriend said walking away but giving her a kiss first before leaving
"Talk about what?" I said to her
"Well we kinda set you up on a date with one of his mates" she said looking nervous
"You know my parents won't let me date" I said opening my book
"So come on your parents didn't let you do that to your hair but you did it, come on what's the real reason you won't go out with any of the guys we set you up with" she said looking at me
"I don't know?" I said reading my book
"Yes you do" she said grabbing my book
"I don't want to go through what you go through" I said
"What do you mean?" She said
"How you fight with him & you always end up crying" I said
"That's just how love work" she said
"Love?" I said starting to think about it when I start to see something it was all fuzzy but I can hear me & someone else laughing the person had bleach blond hair & it was me I think it was still fuzzy but the place started to focus but before it did I woke up in my room my friend from the park was there & a doctor & my parents
"What happened?" I said
"You fainted when we were are the park" my friend said
"& I know why it was from that fall you had a couple months ago" the doctor said
"Really?" My mom said
"Yes but we best no worry she's be okay" the doctor said after that everyone left & all I could think about is that little dream I had.
