Chapter-13

-Y/n pov-
Toward the middle of summer everything changed my hair was black, I was with my grandparents, I had everything I wanted but happiness my grandmother was setting up a ball for my 14 birthday I finally new who I was who my father was I only had one picture of him since my grandfather burned the rest when he joined you know who. I was in my grandmother office looking at the guest list I didn't know anyone on it what a surprise I only saw Lorens name & Mathew at least they'll be there
"Am I missing anyone" my grandmother asked while looking at me & took a sip of her tea
"Well now that you ask umm... One of my best friends Draco Malfoy" I said with a smile but hers fades away
"You know one of the Malfoys" she said with a straight face
"Yes I believe I just named one I suppose" I said with almost a chuckle
"I suppose we can send an owl with an invitation" she said while moving me away from her desk. When the day of ball came I was so nervous in meeting all these people & seeing Draco again also wearing heels my grandmother made me practice wearing them but I was still worried about falling on my ass. It was time to start getting ready so I put on my dress (picture on top I'm sorry if that isn't your e/c just go with it please) it was 7:00 pm & the ball had began I was meeting so many pure bloods I couldn't keep track I meet so many kids in the Syltherin house but there was only one Syltherin I wanted to see & that was Draco, what seemed hours later when he finally showed up I greeted him with a really big hug I was so close to his height with these heels
"Happy birthday" he said into my ear while still hugging me as we pulled apart I said
"Thank you" while looking into his grey eyes
"Well I think we should leave to two kids alone" Mr. Malfoy said while looking at us
"Oh no please sir it's really nice to finally meet you properly you to Ms" I said as I gave them a really sweet smile
"Well it's finally nice meeting you Y/n we heard so much about you Draco here has told us so much about you from what we hear you sound so much like your mother" I look at her confused
"Really they say I sound like my father" I reply to his mother
"Oh they probably didn't know your mother as much as me & my husband knew her see I was one of your mothers closet friends" she said as she took one of my hands & smiled at me
"Lucius.. Narcissa" I heard my grandmother said walking closer
"Ah looks like it's time for the grown ups to talk you kids should run along now" Lucius said I grabbed Draco's hand & lead him the garden
"It's my most favorite place out of the whole manor" leading us into a maze
"I really like your hair it brings out the Ravenclaw in you" Draco's said
"Oh shut up" I said to him forgetting it was black now
"So how's your summer going?" He asked me
"alright I guess your making it better now, & you?" I said winking at him
"Like wise" he said hugging me from the back until we both fell because the heels I was wearing, we both started laughing I found myself on top of him
"Sorry I just can't seem to walk in these bloody heels" he puts a strain of my hair behind my ear
"It's okay but do you mind getting off me" Draco said
"Oh right sorry" I said getting off of him
"Why do you wear them" he asked
"My grandmother said at this age she was running in them & that I should be getting used to them" I said sitting on a stool made out of concrete
"I suppose that makes sense" he said sounding confused I laid my head in his shoulder while grabbing his hand
"You look really nice tonight" he said leaning his head in mine
"Thank you" I said lifting my head & giving him a small kiss on the cheek he turned around so fast we almost kissed on the lips
"What was that for" he asked so serious
"For coming tonight" I said grabbing his hand again & starting to walk
"Here get on my back" he said standing in front of me
"Are you sure" I asked him
"Yeah those thing must be killing you just tell me where to go" he said as I hopped on his back
"Okay let's begin then" after some time of being lost we finally get back to the garden
"We'll be leaving soon so I suppose I won't be seeing you till we get back to Hogwarts" he said looking down
"Not unless you ask me on a date" I said lifting his head up with my hand
"Well I suppose we can" I pushed him a little & said
"Draco" with a smile
"I'm kidding alright" he said hugging me for a while until we went inside to go look for his parents
"Well there you two kids are" Narcissa said
"Draco I'm sorry but we must get going Y/n your welcome anytime at our manor" I realized they were the last people to leave I went to bed so tired & went straight to sleep.
