Chapter 40

-Draco's pov-
She was gone I let her go it was better for her to be far from this place I didn't go back to Hogwarts this year I figured Y/n would do the same hopefully she's in another country right now I wish they never brought back her memories she would be able to sleep forget about this place.
-Y/n pov-
"Miss Y/l/n do you care to show the class how it's done?" The profesor spoke
"He's just a child" I said standing in front of the class & first year with a tear in my eye
"It's not like you haven't done it before" a death eater spoke smiling
"I won't do it" I said lifting my head up to hers
"Very well then" she said grabbing me by my hair & dragging me out of the class room to take me to the Carrow's for my punishment.
"I don't see why you even came back" myrtle said
"I just thought he would come back too" I said sobbing in between the sentence.
"I would get back to the common room before you get caught here" she said drifting away. I walked in & saw everyone surrounding people it was Harry, Hermione & Ron I decided to go hug Hermione I looked awful way worse than Seamus I didn't want to do it anymore it hurt just looking at myself. Everyone was to report to the great hall but I couldn't move from that matters
"George do you know the best kind of medicine is?" Fred said poping out of no where
"Let me take a wild guess & say laughter" George said as a tear rolled down my face as I reached out to one of their faces
"Don't worry just yet we'll get you some help" George said getting up
"I should of never left the burrow" I said spacing out
"Now is not the time Y/n we have to get ready to fight" Fred said
"It's to late" I said pulling up my sleeve & let out a loud sob
"Oh my!" Remus said cuffing his mouth standing next to the twins
"Go I'm as good as dead" I said trying to smile
"Come her now child don't let this filthy mark get the best of you... this doesn't make you a monster" Remus said holding my hand around that time all students were told to get dressed & meet in the great hall.
"Its best we get you out of here while we can" Remus said
"I have to do something first before I leave this place" I said getting up.
"Alone" I said looking at the twins. Meanwhile everyone was at the great hall I thought it would be nice to head into the forbidden forest it took me a while to get to where I really wanted to get but seeing him there where my parents once carved their names in a tree & he carved ours I knew it was worth it.
-Draco's pov-
I heard a noise behind me I turn to see Y/n she smiled as she ran to me she felt so weak
"I love Draco Malfoy" Y/n said as she sobbed in my chest
"I love you too" I said holding her, her face was bruised, her hair was a mess & her bones were all I could feel I thought I was doing her better letting her go but I was wrong
"I'm so sorry" I said putting my head down
"You have nothing to be sorry about" she said
"But I do I let them take you & now your here & just look at you all bruised up" I said starting to look down again but her lip smashed into mine lifting my head up & like that it was just me & Y/n in the world no one else we started taking a few steps back but ended up falling not even that stop us it's like I was kissing her for the first time (I really don't want to type that whole thing up but long story short y'all fucked 😏). As we started to get dressed we heard a loud noise like something breaking
"That came from Hogwarts" Y/n said
"Don't worry everything's going to be okay" I said holding her hand
"Draco I can't fight this fight " Y/n said
"It's alright I'll meet you at your mothers manor it should be safe there" I said cuffing her face with my hands
"Okay..." She said, it was the only thing she said before she disapparating.
-Y/n pov-
I haven't been in this manor in a really long time I almost forgot it was mine now
"Who's there?" I hear a voice say
"U-ugh um I'm Y/n y/l/n who are you" I said looking around for the voice
"I'm Larry the house elf no one is suppose to be here so go away" the voice said again
"This is my manor so I have the right to stay" I said starting to walk up the stairs
"Why have you come here your rumored to be with death eaters... why aren't you with them now..." I wouldn't answer
"Your afraid.... they'll find you, you need to go... & go far away from here that love you have for the malfoy boy isn't worth it you many think it is but it's not... Go" he said coming out of the shadows & handed me his hand & putting something in mine it was a ticket for America in the morning
"You knew I would come how?" I said really confused
"It's my job to serve & protect all Makö's & your the last one to protect please take my advice & go" the house elf said
"I can't go without Draco" I said
"Silly girl you will find another he's held you back so much think about you let go of the bond and see what's keeping you here" Larry said
"Bond?" I said thinking about what me and Draco was more than that but he's was right besides draco what was keeping me here
"Let go!...." Larry said again
"I can't" I said with tears in my eyes
"Put yourself first don't make the mistake your parents made" the elf said while giving me a really big flash back way hack to when I was first sorted "history is to repeat it self with you" and then what Dumbledore said "hopefully you make the right choice unlike your parents but choosing one will coast you the other" and now finally "let go"
"Will you help me?" I said
"But of course" he said. He packed me some clothes while I took a shower & dressed out of my Hogwarts uniform. Morning was coming soon so I had to start leaving. I thanked the elf & handed him a letter & left.
-Draco's pov-
I went inside her manor & at the entry was her father
"Uh Mr. Y/l/n um have you seen-"
"She's far from her & it's better this way son you & I both know you weren't good for her you were of course the reason she was in this mess" he said putting his hand on my shoulder
"She left the elf a letter I'm guessing that's the last goodbye she wanted to say" he said before leaving as the elf handed me a letter her father words hurt me so bad but getting that letter hurt even more
Dear Draco
I'm sorry for leaving but it's better this way, this love we have isn't healthy you should know more than me it hurts me to say this but you have to move on I know it's not going to be easy but I'm going to be gone for a vary long time maybe even forever & you can't wait for me you have to let me go like I've let you go I'm so sorry once again & goodbye Draco Malfoy.
