The Enders

Chapter 10

          I glance at the twins. One of them gets up fast. The other one is still laying down, not seeming to be alive. 

          "He's okay. The army squad knocked him out because he gave a fight when they took us out of the room we were in. Gavin is tough. It won't hurt him much. Boys," She scoffs, a hint of a smile on her voice. I look up from the guy laying on the ground and spot the other. She looks coolly at me with bright green eyes, seeming to decide if I cared or not. Walking over to us, she glanced down at my hand, which was held by Saos. She reached down and offered me her own hand.

          "My name's Jade. That's my brother Gavin. If you haven't guessed yet, we're twins." Jade grins at me and shakes her hand. "Come on, stand up. Let me get a good look at you." I take her hand and smile at her. Her hair is long and curly, like waves of black rolling down her shoulders. She wears the thin clothing I wear, but I'm sure she looks way better in it than me. Jades face is staggeringly pretty, her eyes a bright green and her nose a soft slope. Her skin is dark, though it shines in the harsh lighting of this cell. She smiles and her teeth are white, standing out on her face like diamonds. Sao stands up next to me and I look over at him. He is very handsome, even in his least favorite color. Jade smiles at him and again peeks at our interlocked fingers.

          Sao smiles back, a warming sweet smile. "I'm Sao and this is Nikki. We aren't related." He smiles again and it makes my heart melt. 

          There's a groan, and we look over at Gavin. He stands up and wobbles some, his hands up protectively in front of his face. Jade walks over to him and grabs his forearms. This is rather comical because he has got to be 170 pounds of pure muscle and he's about seven feet tall. He tenses, then his eyes light up, seeming to recognize Jade. She looks in to his eyes and speaks loudly. "Hey. Gavin. It's me, Jade. We were transferred to another room and you fought back. I told you not to, but you didn't listen, did you? No, you didn't. Like usual. Now calm down and I can introduce you to our new bunk mates." As she says this, she looks over at me and rolls her eyes. I say what is already on her mind. "Boys."

          Jade smiles and lets go of one of Gavin's arms. As soon as she lets go, he backs up with lightning speed and knees her in the gut.

OH SNAP. PLOT TWIST!!! JK. GUYS, I'M SORRY THAT I DIDN'T POST FOR SO LONG. I KINDA FORGOT... ;) THIS WEEK, I'M GONNA TRY TO POST AS MANY CHAPTERS AS I CAN. OKAY? DOES THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY?
