They walked down the road past the town line. It took them a while, but eventually they made it into town. Everything was an eerie quiet. The friends looked around. It seemed like a normal town besides the fact that it was literally hidden by like a... Cloaking spell? They all (excluding Riley, who was pretty much in La La Land at the notion of being in a magical town) knew that was impossible. "Hello?" Zay suddenly called, breaking the silence. His voice reverberated around them, echoing until it met their ears shortly after he called out into the night. "... Should we go back?" Lucas asked. "No," Farkle said firmly, "I want to know how they cloaked this town. It must have been some illusion to bend the way the ultraviolet rays hit the back of our retinas and messing up the visual cortex of the brain. But then, how would that affect the fact that we couldn't get into town without the scroll?" The scientist questioned. "Duh," Riley said. Everyone turned to her, surprised. Science was not the bunny-farmer's strong suit. "It's obviously magic. How can you people be so blind?"

Maya rolled her eyes at her ignorant friend. "Sure it is sweetie-" suddenly she stopped mid sentence, "Look. Granny's Bed and Breakfast. I'm sure Shawn wouldn't mind if we stayed the night. Let's just call him and tell him we're here."

"Hey Shortstack," Lucas sauntered over to her, stuck his face in her's and said, "guess what?"

"What is it, Hee Haw?" Maya was using her typical façade of being 'annoyed', but inside, she was sparked at his close he was to her. "We can't call Shawn now. It is two-thirty in the morning." He said.

Maya flushed red. She forgot about that. "Well then he won't miss us till sunrise." She declared.

"But seriously," Zay said, "Blonde Beauty is right. Let's stop in that bed and breakfast, I'm starved." And so the gang walked over to Grannies.

When they got in, they weren't sure what to expect, but it definitely wasn't a 30-something-year-old blonde woman who was crying her eyes out with friends and family surrounding her. The all looked relatively her age, except a young boy who seemed to be around Riley, Maya, Zay, Farkle, and Lucas's age.

All heads snapped back to look at who could possibly be coming into the diner at 2 in the morning. The 5 kids looked startled. "Excuse me-" Riley started, but Maya interrupted. "Okay so what's the deal? 'Magical town' hidden from the rest of the world, where no people seem to live? Except for," she stopped to count, "6 adults and 1 kid who just happened to be in a diner in the wee hours of the mornin'?" She said, using an Irish accent for the last part.

The crying woman looked up at her weakly, started to do something, but then changed her mind, buried her face in her hands, and sobbed on. Riley saw a tissue box in the corner and she grabbed one and walked over to the bawling woman in the red jacket. Maya was slightly envious about the way Riley handled situations, especially ones involving emotions, with such graceful ease. Feelings had always confused the blonde.

Riley walked over to the sniffing woman and offered her a tissue. "Hi," she said gently, "I'm Riley."

The woman said nothing but gratefully excepted the tissue. "Emma," she mumbled though tears.

A poised woman with dark hair and wearing a sensible brown coat stepped forward. "I'm sorry," She said, "I don't think we've met. Regina," she offered her hand out to Riley. The brunette couldn't help notice that her smile was very forced and fear seemed to be hiding behind her eyes. "Where are you from?" Regina asked.

"New York," Farkle interrupted.

Emma stopped her blubbering for a moment. "I'm sorry, what?" She asked.

"He said, 'New York'. We're all from New York." Zay said.

All of the adult's jaws dropped.

The dark haired boy approached them. "Do you believe in magic?" He questioned. Most of them shook their heads, except Riley. Then the boy spun them a tale of curses, witches, pirates and princesses. One of magic and myth. When she finished, Lucas piped up. "Why are you telling us this?" He asked. "Because it all actually happened." The young boy replied. Now it was the kids turn to open their mouths in astonishment. "I'm Henry. Welcome to Storybrooke." He said with a small smile.
