Chapter THREE: The Plan
“And how does it work? Three days to prepare?” asked Jasmine.
“What we do is, I walk up to Daelyn on the day of the fight. I will obviously start lose. Then Darcy, you start to fight Jake. Joseph, take on Sage. Then Jonathan, you’re tall, you’re tough, you take on parish, then everybody else go ape on all of those four people. Today second lunch, we all go on a recruiting range. We go to all of the groups that get bullied and get them involved. After the fight witch we will most-definitely win, we continue on bullying the bullies, and the poplars. Eventually the state of mind of ‘Popularity’ will be acquired by us. Positions will reverse, their self-esteem will drop, and ours will heighten. We will become the new popularity group. They will be the nerds. This isn’t just a plan. It’s a revolution.” Tabitha returned. Jonathan had been in the group since the start of high-school last year.
“This is why I love you, babe.” Flirted Joseph. Tabitha winked back and kissed him on the cheek.
“Tabitha. This is the best idea. But what if we turn into bullies?” Darcy questioned
“We won’t let it fall into a pattern. We do it a few times to switch the positions. Then when they are lower than us we won’t have to continue.” Tabitha confirmed.
“Sounds good,” Darcy commented.
“So three days from now, you get into a fight. As soon as you start losing we basically send in every-body against them. It will be like an all-out war. Sounds like my type of day.” Smiled Jonathan.
“Pretty much,” returned Tabitha.
A smile was on Darcy’s face. “How long have you been planning this?” asked Caitlin.
“A few weeks now. I have been waiting for the right time.” Tabitha answered.
“I sure hope this works, Tabitha. ‘Cause if it don’t, we’re screwed.” Laughed Darcy.
“…yeah!” said Tabitha in a ‘Matter of fact’ tone.
Castielle Knighting-Gale sat on a bench by himself during break time at school. He didn’t have friends. He kept himself to himself. Others thought he was weird. Witch was one of the reasons why he was bullied. Three names came to mind when he thought of bullies. The same five names he thought of when bullies. Jake. Sage. Parish. Sometimes Daelyn. And more and more often, Diablo Torrent. Diablo was a disturbed boy from a disturbed family of Satanists. He was a Goth kid in the popular group of course. Castielle was bullied by Diablo all the time. Castielle was from a strict Catholic family, that was one of the main reasons why Diablo teased him. And there was also the huge coincidence that Diablo was the name of the devil and Castielle was the name of an angel. One girl and three boys walked up to him. Castielle was not familiar with many people at the school. “Yes?” asked Castielle.
“Hey. I’m Tabitha, this is my boyfriend, Joseph. This is Jonathan and Darcy. We have a plan. A plan that might make every single bully stop. Do you want to be part of it?” The girl said, pointing a finger at a different boy each name.
“Depends,” He said in a shaky voice, “Who are the targets?”
“Every bully. Specifically Jake, Sage and Parish. You know of any other bullies?” she specified.
“Yeah. Diablo Torrent.” Castielle confirmed.
“Oh you mean that freaky Goth kid? Yeah I have seen him bully pretty much every Christian kid at this school. That’s why I keep it a secret,” said Jonathan taking his Crucifix Necklace from under his shirt.
“Okay. I’m in.” agreed Castielle. Tabitha smiled.
“Thanks dude. Meet us after school three days from now. On the oval. Bye!” Tabitha exclaimed. The four people walked off once again leaving Castielle alone. But then Tabitha turned around, walked back to him and asked, “You want to come sit with my group?”
“Uh, okay,” said Castielle, not really knowing his place. He walked with the four others to the area that they sat at. It was a large group. But no one was there that he recognised. But then she lifted up her face and looked him in the eye. “Hey Caitlin,” he said in a shaky voice. Castielle was a ‘Late bloomer’ as some called it. He hit puberty later than others. He had only really started recognising girls. And lately they had been on his mind. Castielle had had a crush on Caitlin for a while now.
“Hey Castielle,” her voice was shaky.
“Something wrong?” he asked, making a few smiles appear on the faces on others around the group.
“Oh, those idiots, Jake, Sage, Parish and Daelyn. Your right Tabitha.”
“Right about what?” question Tabitha.
“The Bully Plan. It is time to take a stand. Against bullies. I’m in.” said Caitlin.
“So that’s what you’re calling it. The Bully Plan. Good name.” Castielle said. Probably the only words in months he said in a non-quite-as-a-mouse voice, “Who is the leader?”
“Tabitha, she is the master-mind behind this. Three days. All-out war.” Commented Darcy. Tabitha blushed. Josephs face made an expression of jealousy that almost disappeared immediately.
“Guys, I’m going to go on a pick up run to get some more guys for the plan. Anyone want to come?” asked Darcy.
“Yeah, I’ll come.” Said Tabitha.
“Me too.” Added Jonathan.
“Me three.” Joked Castielle with a wry smile.
“Me four, idiots!” said Diablo as he passed and sent a fist into Castielle’s spine and made a run for it. Jonathan caught up and grabbed Diablo away from his friends and sent Diablo’s head into his knee. “Ahh, what the hell? You could have broken my nose?” Diablo complained.
“Yeah! Well your lucky I didn’t!” returned Jonathan.
“Castielle? Fight me?” proposed Diablo.
“Okay! Three days from now. Oval after school.” Castielle felt strong. Tabitha smiled.
“Wait what? Okay.” Said Diablo with a surprised look.
“Good job.” Winked Tabitha.
“Thanks, Jonathan. Ouch my back,” complained Castielle. The bell rang. Everybody disbanded the area, and once again, Castielle was alone.
