"Good afternoon".dad said with a smile entering the house.I was on my way to the bathroom.I needed to wash my face.it was sticky.white line were under my eyes.the tears had dried.
"Hi...daddy".I said trying to hide the fact that I was crying.But as you know,I failed,big TIME.
"Why were you crying Dina?what had happened to you?"dad worried.
"Nothing"I said without looking back.
"Daddy"! Ty shouted and jumped on daddy's legs.I mentally laughed seeing daddy struggled to walk to the kitchen where his wife was.ugh.
"Hey son.what did you eat today?where is the next little one".
"Cookies"Ty said smiling and looking up.
"I'm right here Daddy, watch out!"
did Mat just jumped on daddy's back.
"Hey Mat did you feed the dog today."
"Yes Daddy,I wanted Dina to get me some more bones, but..."Mat stop making sure he didn't finish what he was saying because he knew his mother was near.
"Hey wifey".Dad said giving his wife a kiss.I didn't know where he kissed her but it sounded like he kiss her on the cheek.
"Hey baby".his wife said turning to him and kissing him back.I was trying to avoid seeying them but the corner of my eyes failed me.I have to pass through the kitchen to get to my room.ugh.I really didn't want to see her.
"What happened to Dina"Dad wondered.
"I don't know,asked her?"
Knock, knock."who's there"?I questioned.
"Its me".I heard Dad said.I quickly hid my diary.
"The door is open."Dad came in.
"I know something is wrong,did your mom made you up set".
"No,I mean yes, kind of.I know I give her the money, and she said I didn't, and plus she said she hates me."I said trying to hold back the tears.As usual I failed.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Dina ,Dad paused.wait you mean the money she give you the day before Valentine's day,didn't she took it from you that same day.She always forgetting.I'm ganna make sure, you don't get blame if that money got lost.I nodded.
"See, I know right.I know she took it back, but she claimed that I had it.I think she forgot where she put the money and she trying to take her self out of it so I can get blame for it".I whispered.she would slap the Fuck out of me if she heard me.
"Its ganna be ok"I'm going to remind her that she took it that same day.as a matter of fact I think she even told me where she placed the money."Dad said getting out my room.it was about time t let her know that I wasn't lying.Thank God she told Dad.yes God loves me.
Dad went to the kitchen.
"Remember you told me you took the money from Dina, and hide it your self?.I heard Dad questioned his wife
"What do you mean?do you think I'm lying on my own daughter?why would I say she had the money if I knew she gave it back to me?why?mom questioned in creol.she like to ask to much damn questions.ugh.
"I'm serious you told me that the same night before we had s.....Dad paused.remember". Dad dnt be smart I know what you was about to say.I shook off the thoughts and continued to listen.
"Are you serious.you supposed to be on my side not hers.she's a child and she never remember anything.I'm ganna make her give me that money right after I finish cooking.you spoiling her.to early for that.I still can't believe you.ugh"mom angrily said.I don't even think she breath while saying those things.she was out of breath I could hear her breathing fast and heavy.
"You,your self told me you put the money in a purse you had in your draw.the one with bras in it.and now you trying to lie"
"Oh yeah.now I remember.I forgot I took it from her.I can't believe I took it and couldn't remember"mom said.she was saying she hates me for forgetting,hope she hate her self for forgetting too.she went in the draw and there the money was,just waiting on the person who placed it there to find it in her old beat up purse.ugh.
She came inside my room.
"Dina I found the money.I seriously thought you still had the money.I didn't remember taking it from you.
I nodded.
"Its all good,thank God you found the money".I said with a fake smile.
"So you still mad? you don't suppose to get mad at your mother anyways".God please hold me back, I really don't want to hit my own mom.danm she is getting on my last fucking nerves.calm down Dina.just keep steal. She went out of my room.and shouted "sorry for lying on your name".I forgive her.But she never said she was sorry for saying she hates me
